Tbf it’s not insinuating, it’s stating it directly by use of implication. If you say ‘Donald Duck and the other ducks’, that means that Donald Duck is a duck, and so are the other ducks. If you say ‘Mickey Mouse and the other ducks’, you hear that this is wrong.
If he however had said, ‘The rat Di Maria and the rat Fernandez didn’t criticise me, but Wayne Rooney and the other rats did’, he would have left open a very small possibility that Wayne Rooney was not a rat.
Calling people who criticise you ‘rats’ is also a very narcissistic, aggressive and dangerous way to talk.
To be fair if someone is trying to say Ronaldo wasn’t calling Rooney a rat then I’d question if English were that posters first language
The funny thing is if anyone's a rat in this whole situation it's Ronaldo.

To be fair we got like 2 years of Ronaldo elite form while going through 3/4 years of developing him. Ronaldinho didn’t need developed so if he stayed here 4/5 we would have had consistent, legendary performances for a lot longer in a Utd shirt imo

Doesn’t matter if its 3 minutes or 3 seconds. To refuse to come on the pitch when the manager asks is wholly unprofessional. ETH isn’t trying to make some point that he is the boss. He actually IS the boss. And you are on a slippery slope once you allow players to start picking and choosing when they will or will not come on to the pitch. It would lead to absolute anarchy.
The fact Ronaldo in the interview last night doubled down on this point last night was shocking. Shows his delusions of grandeur he has about himself. The comparison with the City game isn’t an equal one at all in my opinon. We were battered out of sight in that game, so it was damage limitation for large parts of the game – something Ronaldo wouldn’t have helped with.
If any of us turn into work today and refuse a perfectly acceptable work request from our boss, and then on top walk out of our workplace right after it, we are on the dole queue in the morning. He should be treated no different.
Definitely. Ronaldo is fit but Rooney was a warrior. There was that one clip of him amusingly getting knocked out but he used to box and was always fearless.

First of all I don't think Ronaldo meant Rooney when he said Rats. He mentioned Rooney and then mentioned 'and the rest of the rats', he probably meant the others as being rats and Rooney by himself. Despite the fact that he is annoyed at Rooney 'criticising' him it doesn't mean he called him a rat.
On the second point, Rooney would knock Ronaldo spark out, let's be real. Idc how fit and tall Ronaldo is and how fat Rooney is.

Right? I watched both parts and learned absolutely nothing. Even when it came to the pre season fiasco he explicitly stated he didnt want to go into details. Like, this was a platform for him to apparently tell what actually happened from the start of pre season until his last game. What was said, what was going on in the background... and what did he actually tell? That his daughter was ill, that the hierarchy "didnt believe him" (even though he put a post up on IG thanking the club and staff for their support) and he even went on to say it was actually the Press and Media that didnt believe him in the end anyway. We also learnt that he didnt like being bought on for 3 minutes.
YET when poked for further details he wouldnt go into it. So out of all of it the only thing I came away any wiser about was that his daughter had Bronchitis!

I thought that post was silly. However I find people who think that footballers who have a reputation to be tough on the pitch can simply thrash anyone is silly especially when they are old and clearly out of form. The same comments tend to be thrown on Roy Keane's direction. FFS he's a 50year old+, 5ft11 guy who had his shares of injuries not fecking Wolverine.

He mentioned when he was talking to his son about the suspension, he son was wondering why they were suspending the “best player in the world”. He truly believes it. That’s why there is all of this reaction. We are often last to see our own decline, I don’t begrudge him that. But either way, I think the club needs to stand very firm and not let him get what he wants.
Rooney would pretty clearly win, unless Ronaldo has been trained to fight in some way we don't know about. Being taller and fitter is good, but if you don't even know how to throw a punch properly then and you're against someone who can actually fight then it won't be much use to you.
Rooney has done boxing. He'd smash many. As for Keane, he's still fit, and an ex boxer. I suspect he can still handle himself.

And that is all I learnt, too. My daughter had the exact same thing about 4 weeks after she was born. Stayed in hospital for 1 week. Was terrifying.
But the rest as you say, is just pointless. Doesn't go into any detail on how EtH doesn't respect him. Doesn't talk about how other players were treated differently to him. I don't get it. He says nothing earth shattering that we didn't already know.

I am now clearly out of form but in the past I did my share of workouts and martial arts (Krav Maga, Aikijitsu etc). I assure you that being out of form makes you slower, it impacts your strength, your stamina and your reaction time significantly especially when you start getting older. There's a lot to be said about Ronaldo but one thing is clear. The guy is in shape.
