Ronaldo's officially entered his old man phase with the whole "kids these days have it easier and don't work as hard as people in my day".
Yeah pretty much my take on it too.To be honest this is only a good thing in my opinion.
He has shone a light on the Glazers and also ensured that he'll never play for us again.
Definitely not watching the interview though.

What kind of light has he shone on the Glazers?
Were you aware that the Glazers haven't been good owners? I think not !What kind of light has he shone on the Glazers?
Him saying he does not respect the manager is not wrong?
Him thinking football should only be played to suit his style is not wrong?
Him saying "I could have joined City" then saying he loves United fans is not wrong?
We did big purge of Liverpool fans last year. I would take them back instead Ronaldo fansAnother one flushed out
Why is he suddenly so in demand among all the loons (Kanye and that bald sexist youtybe guy too)? I thought he was considerd to be a bit of a joke in the UK.The phrase "Pierce Morgan is a brilliant journalist " should be punishable by law.
Is he? He tries to make himself relevant by sucking up to whoever famous he can find. Best responding to that are pathological narcissists hence the clientele he has.Why is he suddenly so in demand among all the loons (Kanye and that bald sexist youtybe guy too)? I guess the other posters saying you’re 12 aren’t that far off haha!Do you know any different? No you don’t so go away!
See your just picking bits that are clearly wrong and applying them to my statement.
His comments about the club, the lack of investment in infrastructure, modernisation, Rangnick, the owners, the stagnation. None of that is wrong.
Hope he called out our terrible mistake in giving him at age 36/37 for enormous wages. Oh, he signed the contract and thought it was a great idea and only pointed it out once he became an unhappy squad player? That's a surprise.See your just picking bits that are clearly wrong and applying them to my statement.

He's just picked the wrong platform to say it and needs to go.

Fair play to him for calling out the Glazers.
Good one you should be on stage, maybe the other posters will be your friends and you won’t ever have to validate a reasonable opinion ever again.I guess the other posters saying you’re 12 aren’t that far off haha!

Plus he is right about the youth players attitude.See your just picking bits that are clearly wrong and applying them to my statement.

I didn't say new light. What exactly in that shines any sort of light(new light) on the owners? Think about it this way, he joined the club without issue after a massive protest against the owners and the owners are currently supporting the manager who is making football decisions that do not suit Ronaldo.
The only light shining is the one showing us that Ronaldo didn't care about the owners before signing and the owners seemingly don't care about his whining against the manager and are ready to support the latters 'Football decisions.
Plus he is right about the youth players attitude.
Now the gormless owners will have to pay him off and insert a clause banning him from talking about the ownership. Game set and match to Ronaldo.
I didn't say new light.
It's just objectively true that he's shining a light on the issue seeing as he's doing an interview to be seen by millions criticizing the Glazers as a current member of the playing staff, irrespective of his motivation for doing so. I don't even think it'll change anything but its not nothing and its certainly not a bad thing.
People have been talking about ownership for years. I don't think it makes any difference to them. Why do they have to pay him off? Let an offer come in. If it doesn't he can enjoy the bench for the rest of his contract. Game set and match Manchester United.Plus he is right about the youth players attitude.

Also he's been the most unprofessional player at this football club for awhile. What a terrible example he's shown for all the young players. How is he right about that when youth players are more professionalized today and expected to contribute heavily sooner? It's probably the daftest of all the suggestions he made.
Are you being an absolute melt on purpose now?He is shining light that was already one? Have you tried that in real life?
Like hundreds of others. He is the only current player to have called them out.He has no problem taking their money does he!
BingoNobody with half a brain will take Ronaldo "calling out" the owners as anything but a blatant attempt to suck up to the fans. He knows we don't care much for the Glazers (duh).
It appears to have worked to some degree, though.
Or perhaps it would be more accurate to say that it's being used by his fanboys in a predictable manner.

It’s like Simon Jordan was saying before he went into one and got sensationalist the interview was kinda meh, which makes you wonder the real reason for the spite in a lot of these posts.See your just picking bits that are clearly wrong and applying them to my statement.

Yeah you really have to wonder whyIt’s like Simon Jordan was saying before he went into one and got sensationalist the interview was kinda meh, which makes you wonder the real reason for the spite in a lot of these posts.
Wasn’t the whole squad and manager giving off about Garnacho’s attitude? How is he right about that when youth players are more professionalized today and expected to contribute heavily sooner? It's probably the daftest of all the suggestions he made.
You are right but that's not what the public perception will be. This the first time an active employee has spoken against the Glazers which can only be a good thing for the anti- Glazer sentiment. Of course, it should be clear that this is just a self preservation rhetoric he's presenting but it does put more pressure on the Glazers. What exactly in that shines any sort of light(new light) on the owners? Depends on how you take what he said, because he didn't clarify.
I think it's obvious the majority of young players nowadays are very focused on their social media/building their brand and less focused on their football. The era Ronaldo was 'born into' at United was full of players who lived and breathed football - and everything else was a side interest. Technology and player power hasn't helped but it's wrong to dismiss this claim.
I read somewhere they've lost £400m on that interview alone. To be honest this is only a good thing in my opinion.

Definitely not watching the interview though.
