His English has improved tenfolds
Me too, ffsI'm actually crying after reading 'Sir Alex, this one is for you'.
Juve paid 105m and our marketing team are miles better. That yet to be proved, lots of clubs have tried it and struggled, Juve being 1 of them which is why they are so happy to get him off the wage bill, everyone always things like shirt sales, which the club only get a tiny percentage off, Ronaldo also gets most of his own sponsorships. Is Ronaldo going to bring in a minimum extra £375,000 (which is the minimum amount I've seen his wages quoted at) into the club, we will have to see. Not to mention every time you increase your top earner it increases every other player you negotiate with wage demand. Plus you think sponsors are going to still be flocking to him as much at 37? at 38? probably to some level but nothing compared to when he was in his prime.
What a beautiful post. Buzzing is not the word."PS - Sir Alex, this one is for you..."

Good, we have world class depth at CF.Cavanis brother of all people has confirmed he is staying
I'm not gonna win this 1 so i'm not gonna bother arguing, but this is a terrible idea based on nostalgia and name value. Committing to making a 36-year-old our highest-earning player and paying him that wage past his 38th birthday is never going to end well. That money could have been spending so much better in other areas of the team instead of in a position we were pretty well set this season. It was also likely to impact Greenwoods development as a striker as he basically won't get any time in the position now with Ronaldo and Cavani. Plus this is not the Ronaldo of yesteryear, yes he will still score, but his game when a team is out of possession is basically none exsistent and the other 10 players are going to have to compensate which is going to cause problems through the team.
Of course I will get shouted down and told to shut up as fans only care about the big shinney name, but this is an awful signing.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that his post obviously wasn't written by him.

Wrong thread?Just don't like it.

That roar is going to be simply unbelievable, kudos to the fans who have attended games during difficult spells in recent years. Rochdale, Astana, etc.OMFG goosebumps. Best statement I've ever read from a player when signing.
I still cannot believe this. My favourite player of ALL time coming back to United. This is the stuff football dreams are made of.
He's going to be so pumped for this return, the stadium is going to explode, I mean like never before. I have to be there.
What he actually wrote
SIIIUUUUUUUUUU
And Ronaldo was still some way near his prime thenJuve paid 105m and our marketing team are miles better.

Agreed. But you may be underestimating Uniteds pull around the world a bit and the machine/sponsor deals that United is/have (Juve is nowhere near)And Ronaldo was still some way near his prime then
People need to stop believing this…… …… …… poster
Just imagine how much money we'd make if we had no players! That yet to be proved, lots of clubs have tried it and struggled, Juve being 1 of them which is why they are so happy to get him off the wage bill, everyone always things like shirt sales, which the club only get a tiny percentage off, Ronaldo also gets most of his own sponsorships. Worrying times for Lukaku then. And Ronaldo was still some way near his prime then
Course they can, not when he was in his prime, but he isn't going playing 90mins every week, he is going to need to be heavily rotated (and if that doesn't happen then there is another barrel of problems), you think Ronaldo is going to be our best player when his is 38? of course not! so quite a few players are going to be looking at his wages and think well if they are paying him that I should get that.Nobody can argue they should be on the same salary as Ronaldo. It’s different when you’re paying Alexis Sanchez a fortune, cause he’s done feck all.
