still gets no respect
Wrong one. Depay is the Dutch one.Would Utd take Aubameyang?

Is there nothing else noteworthy happening in football? Is it such a slow day for news?
There is absolutely no way Ronaldo joins Barcelona.
A key component of his brand is that he has only ever played for the historical 'big' clubs instead of the oil clubs and he was key in turning around the fortunes for 2 of them - United & Madrid - while facing heavy domestic competition (Arsenal/Chelsea/Barca/Pool/Atletico). There is no way he tarnishes his Madrid legacy to play for our eternal rivals. There is no way he gets accepted in a dressing room of Xavi, Busquets, Pique, Alba - all of whom have either publicly criticized Ronaldo or scrapped with him on the field. His brand will actually diminish if Madridistas start hating on him ... no more media support from Papa Flo and most importantly no more rando Madrid fans on social media harping about his greatness.
Real Madrid still post Ronaldo's old videos on Insta and FB ... His goals, his celebrations, his trophies ... He literally left us 4 years ago!!!
I really hope he’s gone by the time we go on tour. The distraction really isn’t needed
No. He refused to come on preseason due to family issues and then today was seen in Portugal NT training facilities. Are people buying that?
Could be I guess, be a bit of a coincidence.
I still DO NOT believe a word of this ... He is absolutely not a Guardiola type player. One reason why so few Guardiola players get into the team of the season, despite crushing domestic rivals is that the entire team works hard for each other. Its tough to standout and take all the glory if you are covering for each others' weaknesses and selflessly sharing the ball. This is the exactly the opposite of Ronaldo. This news sounds like Ronaldo/United PR.Although a bigger legend for you, he was about to join our city rivals before we intervened. And our social media has been buttering his arse pretty much since he left the first time.
The real crux of it is if he goes on pre season tour. A shitload of money will have been paid for the likes of him being the main draw. Imagine no Pogba or Ronaldo. but heres Harry Maguire and Elanga. Kinda funny in a way, and hope it puts the club in an awkward positionAre people buying that?

Xavi want’s FrenkieNo chance Barca take him. Xavi wouldn't want him
Don't underestimate Mendes' influence and Barca's stupidityNo chance Barca take him. Xavi wouldn't want him
I genuinely pity you, if you thought that.
Ronaldo plays for Ronaldo and his legacy, what we or you guys think of him is not important. Is there nothing else noteworthy happening in football? Is it such a slow day for news?

EDIT: On Saturday, Madrid literally posted his best CL goals.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Don't underestimate Mendes' influence and Barca's stupidity
Your reply is actually laughable. You comparing Ronaldo and Welbeck
Not a chance. Party boy who can't take football seriously. He isn't the answer at all.Would Utd take Aubameyang?
I don't really think Madrid was ever Ronaldo's dream club really. Even in 2006 he said he was happy joining either Madrid or Barcelona. His association with Madrid would make this move difficult but the man only cares about himself so you can never rule it out.I remember a United player saying Barcelona was actually his dream club a number of years before the Real Madrid interest materialised. Can't remember who said it but he mentioned that Ronaldo would talk up Barcelona in training in his younger days. Not going to happen though, he's doing exactly to Real what he did to United last summer.
Your reply is actually laughable.
You need to read what he is talking about first. How come?
Yeah but he’s a Real legend. Or something.
I agree but his move to Real Madrid in 2009 was sold to us as his dream move, which was obviously a lie. The bloke has only ever looked out for numbero uno.I don't really think Madrid was ever Ronaldo's dream club really. Even in 2006 he said he was happy joining either Madrid or Barcelona. We didn't cost him feck all. He's been paid silly money to be an occasional match winner. He chose to come here, he's choosing to leave for a second time. Only this time we're not losing nearly as much.We basically cost Ronaldo a Premier League win at 37 by not letting him join City last season.
Can't criticise him at all for wanting to move on now to try and get a trophy.
Would Utd take Aubameyang?
That doesn't really answer what he asked does it? So are you rooting for Ronaldo more or a United?Ronaldo is more of our club than any fan. He gave all he had in his youth and at his age now. Fans need to move on and point fingers elsewhere.

I'm hoping the Ronaldo fans masquerading as United fans move elsewhere when he leaves. Makes me cringe to see people belittling the club and supporters to defend a man who only cares about himselfRonaldo is more of our club than any fan. Yeah but he’s a Real legend. Or something.
I'm not after any inflammatory answer, I was just wondering why you were avoiding answering it in the first place.Obviously not. But it doesn't mean I'm going after a club legend with a pitchfork either. There does exist middle ground.
Sorry for not giving you the inflammatory answer you might be after.
I would honestly love it if he went to Barca. I mean he’s going somewhere, so why not? Just for the entertainment factor alone.
Ramos and Messi at PSG, Ronaldo at Barca. It’s like some FIFA career mode shit.Seriously this dude wanted to go to City and rip up his United legacy. Of course he'd go to fecking Barca.
You need to read what he is talking about first.
