Likely doesn't fancy the circus everytime he has to sub/rotate or rest him...
I think Sancho is a good player but Ole has absolutely no idea how to use him. It’s a total mismatch.I am, because it's what Ole himself said.
Rashford only came back after his op during the season, he'd been playing through loads of injuries the two years before, including a broken back, was training all the way up to the finals and then got an insane amount of abuse for missing a penalty. I don't blame him for one bad season when everyone else is turd.
The Sancho buy, which was planned for might have been one of the reasons for the change in style, he was supposed to be our marquee signing.
Greenwood is nobodies fault but his own.
James was sold earlier than Ronaldo coming in I think, and Bruno just didn't get ridiculous numbers like he had for the previous 2/3 seasons.
The biggest issues we had, especially at the beginning was the form of Maguire and Shaw, who were both atrocious, and scuppered the whole 'playing out of the back'
Seems so. Total disaster. We are stuck with him for the season?
Honestly worry how we'll do with him in the squad.
Our pressing will automatically get worse.
Ronaldo has done himself a huge disservice.
Its not the lack of CL.
He wanted to dictate to the manager how and where he should be played.
It was never going to work with a man who knows his job.
We were always in need of a striker to replace Greenwood.
Now we are forced to use a player who was penciled to leave (Martial).
He may work out.
Lets hope the Anthony talks prove real.
You understand Romano gets his stuff from agents right? What a bizarre argument. Is it still Mendes and Ronaldo leaking the Saudi news for PR then now that Fab has reported it?
That's not how pressing in football works. At all. The striker is a main trigger and contributor in pressing systems. In our first game against Liverpool it was very obvious that Ten Hag had instructed the front line to press high and aggressively. If the whole team's pressing worsens because of Ronaldo, he isnt a football player. Must be some professor xavier playing mind games with the team.
Ronaldo is playing as a CF where even if the opponents go past him due to his failure to press, the wingers and midfielders can still cover the spaces and press. ETH knows how to use Ronaldo, there is no need to worry.
That's not how it works mate. You can't have the whole team pressing and the striker doesnt engage. In fact, the front man leads the press. If he doesn't, opponents will pick holes with ease.If the whole team's pressing worsens because of Ronaldo, he isnt a football player. Must be some professor xavier playing mind games with the team.

check back on the thread. rather a lot of people, is the answerWho ever said this?
Then they would have come out and denied it.I don't think the Saudi offer is true. It's Ronaldo's PR team at work.
If it's true, Saudi side will be the one telling the whole world. They like to be in the headline.

Ten Hag will ask Ronaldo to do a lot more off the ball.

Well done, my friend. This is probably the first time I've seen someone shut down a mental gymnast on the caf, off the strength of their argument.Ok lets do a bit of math here. CR conversion rate for league + UCL combined is slightly above 18% whereas Lewa is 25%. Assuming that lewa did not take a single “shots from obscene ranges and angles”, in order for CR7 to reach 25% conversion rate on shots that are not from “obscene range and angles” with very low chance of scoring, the ratio of normal shots versus obscene range and angle shots has to be around 70/30.
In order words, we are assuming 30% of the time he will be taking shots from obscene ranges and angles, and any lower would mean his conversion rate isn’t as good as Lewa.
I am not sure about others, for people that plays football/futsal, how would one feel when there is this player who takes shots from obscene range and angles 30% of the time, even if he very occasionally scores from those shots?
You can bet your arse they will.if he stays, will OT still be singing his name and SIUUU?

tax free too250M. Feck me that’s absolutely insane. I would be on the next plane available to that country if i were him
I was trying to read this like it was proseYou're right.
Obviously he wanted to dictate to the manager
Understandable why he's been left at home
Clearly though, nobody is interested
Upsetting as it's been for Ronaldo
Now is the time to buckle down and work for the team
Time will tell if he'll stay or go
Am I the only one who is least concerned if he is forced to stay here because no one else is taking him? I believe he will turn up and play his best and be professional. I don't think he will sulk half a season like certain someone.

But not much less. Otherwise he can go to Sporting and they will treat him as god there.I must have missed them, most of the posts I saw involved his desire to play in the Champions League as his main priority, some suggesting he was prepared to earn less to make that possible.
