Rest in Peace
Such an odd series. Consecutive games where the losing side scores less than 100 runs. Will Jordan be in the test side this summer?

Whose place does he take? I assume Anderson's a lock, Broad if he's healthy is an opener. That leaves Bresnan on the bubble-assuming England go with one spinner and an all-rounder.
Never much of a batter. Decent outfielder and baserunner.I think baseball is a great game much like cricket. If you're a batter I don't think the transition would be too difficult, pitching/bowling is a whole other game of soldiers.
Bresnan's shite.Whose place does he take? I assume Anderson's a lock, Broad if he's healthy is an opener. That leaves Bresnan on the bubble-assuming England go with one spinner and an all-rounder.
Agree about Bresnan. Thought Finn was not ready for prime time after being sent home from Australia. Is he doing well enough to regain his spot? I figure they'll want one all rounder to shore up the batting line-up-which bodes well for Stokes. And I assume Root is not being considered an all-rounder-just a spot bowler for the test side.Bresnan's shite.
Can see them going going 4 man pace attack of Anderson, Broad, Finn, Jordan with their spin option being Moeen Ali or he'll play instead of Finn and Stokes will also play.

Thanks. Guess he's not knocking over the bails anymore . Looking forward to seeing tests again-not a huge fan of ODIs and T20s.Don't know if its changed after this round of fixtures but Finn had taken the most wickets at the best average in the country.
Great little story. As an American, I grew up playing baseball and didn't know anything other than the bat was shaped different. When I was in Afghanistan I joined a pickup match played by the Indians there as porters, etc. I'd read a bit about it on BBC sport and had a very basic understanding of the rules. Before stepping into the crease I told myself, I ran through the differences in my head to not get it confused ("you don't have to run on every fair ball" and "if you do, run to the bowler"). Well, as soon as the ball cracked off the bat I was playing baseball. Old habits won. I dropped the bat sprinted off to where first base would be on a baseball diamond. The Indians looked at me as if I had lost my mind. By the time I came to I was in no man's land and out like a fat kid in dodgeball.
I think I might like it, through. How steep is the learning curve to be a Sunday pickup game duffer?
