Not watching the ODIs.. Yuvraj Singh finished?

They need to get Pujara in there, and trial Rahane as the back-up opener.

Good win for Pakistan. Bowlers rescuing us again, with ball and bat.

Great game. Very good final over in the circumstances.

No matter the occasion, no matter the personnel..

South Africa find a way to choke!

The Taliban's released a video saying Tendulkar should not be praised by Pakistani media and that they should get behind Misbah, even though he's shit.

In the comments section of this ( http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2013/dec/03/the-spin-muddling-on-in-the-middle-cricket )rather good edition of the Spin.

TENDULKAR AND THE TALIBAN. OR: HOW JOURNALISM WORKS
You may have spotted the story. It has been on the BBC, the Daily Telegraph, the Daily Mail, the Sydney Morning Herald, Gulf News, the Times of India, and, yes, even the Guardian. Last week the Taliban were widely reported to have criticised the Pakistani press and public for praising Sachin Tendulkar, an act which they reckoned was "unpatriotic". The line was taken from a 50-second clip of 17-minute interview with spokesman Shahidullah Shahid. After being posted, it was picked up by a wire service, and spread around the world, each news outlet following the other in seizing on the story and sticking it up online.
The trouble being that it seems Shahid said nothing of the sort. He was, instead, making a rather long and convoluted analogy about a remark made by the Pakistani politician Munawar Hassan, who recently described Taliban leader Hakimullah Mehsud as an "Islamic martyr". The comment was hugely controversial because Mehsud, who was killed in a drone strike, was widely regarded as an enemy of the state, and so, by extension, an enemy of Islam.
Shahid's point was this: if you argue that it is unpatriotic for Pakistanis to celebrate Mehsud an Islamic martyr, you may as well say that it is wrong for Pakistanis to celebrate Tendulkar as a great cricketer because he is an Indian. This, Shahid pointed out, would be a ridiculous thing to do because "everyone knows how much it is the opposite of reality not to admire the greatest cricketer [Tendulkar]" regardless of patriotic interest.
The Taliban were, in fact, condoning the celebrations of Sachin's achievements, not condemning them. The nuances got lost in translation and the rush to publish. So, while it would typically be true that any time you find yourself on the same side of an argument as the Taliban something has gone seriously awry, in this one case they are right to say they have been wronged. Corrections and apologies have, perhaps unsurprisingly, been somewhat slow in coming.

South Africa taking the Indian bowling apart.

I'm sure nobody expected that...

I reckon this chase will tell us a lot about the tour. If our batting stands up, we have a chance.. Otherwise, it will be 10 test losses in a row by the end of it.

Dhawan out.

Rohit 2 off 23 balls....

This is going brilliant so far.

What the feck pitch are they playing on in New Zealand?

Is it any wonder Test Cricket isn't popular when you get games like that?

No one wants to see a run fest.

Right time to retire..

Been a pain to watch as an opposing fan. Rock solid.

'Kin hell. Ponting, Tendulkar, Kallis, legends of the game retiring left, right and centre.

Dale Steyn, IMO, will be there soon enough.

In my opinion, already one of the greatest fast bowlers, but his career is young in terms of matches played.

At his present wickets/match rate, he should become SA's highest wicket taker in 16 more matches.

Wow! Corey Anderson sets record for fastest ever ODI century! Some crazy hitting.

Watching BBL. It seems boring, is it because we don't know any of the players or the teams?

Gilchrist and Ponting in commentary are terrible. Feel like I'm watching sportscenter.

It's just a bit shit.

IPL isn't my favourite thing in the world, but it manages for me to strike a half decent balance between entertainment and cricket.

The BBL doesn't manage that, from the stupid flashing stumps to the music between every ball and all the other fecking gimmicks in it.

That was a glorified T20 match, only 21 overs.

I know. Whatever it was, still 100 runs in 36 balls is some achievement. WI bowling was mediocre to say the least but it was some astonishing hitting from Anderson. It was, as if, he wanted to hit each ball over the rope and was succeeding fairly regularly in doing so.
