Ajmal's been fantastic. Hopefully we can get another 1-2 wickets before the close of play, so far it's been good stuff.

Du Plessis is just a quality player. The way he's adjusted to Test cricket has been superb.

No, it's different. DRS can be for multiple dismissals. However, each dismissal type must have original decision as 'umpire call'. For khan, umpire decision for the catch was originally not out- this was overturned due to the nick. The umpires call for the Kallis catch was out - this was overturned. The umpire decision for the Kallis lbw was not out - hawkeye showed that the lbw should've gone with umpire call. Therefore, Kallis shouldn't have been given out.

It must be a part of the Pakistani's contracts that there has to be a batting collapse at some point each innings.

I don't know why Umar is not playing and I don't like Jamshed as opener. The batting really lets down the side and gives the bowlers very little opportunity to compete for the win.

That said, their attack is phenomenal.
 
Hafeez is a good batsmen but I don't rate him outside the subcontinent.

Aye, Hafeez hasn't done too much this tour. But you have to have him in the side for his bowling, fielding and general leadership qualities.

I think Jamshed, despite his dismal start to his Test career, can be a good player. He's just not an opener for me.
 
Jamshed's definitely talented. Maybe I'm biased cos the fecker has scored bucket-loads of runs against India. I also refuse to believe that Kamran Akmal is not an upgrade over Sarfraz Ahmed. I saw Ahmed's wicketkeeping yesterday, he didn't manage to pick even one of Ajmal's variations.

Why's Tanvir Ahmed in your team?
Looks more like an Indian Pace bowler.
 
I think Tanvir's inclusion is due to Junaid getting a knock. I haven't seen him play before, and I hope I don't see him playing again.

The habitual batting collapses and poor bowling support for Ajmal in the second innings made it easier for SA. Why didn't Hafeez bowl more in the second innings? feck off Misbah you gigantic shitc**t.

If the batters had added another 50-70 runs it would've given the bowlers some chance but just not good enough (again).

Ajmal with 10 wickets in the match, he was brilliant. Hopefully Junaid is back for the 3rd test.
 
Misbah's captaincy was Dhoni-esque in the second innings. Both of them lack balls.

I read that article but if the umpire gave the lbw not out due to him believing that kallis had nicked the ball. If he knew that kallis had not nicked the ball, he might have given the lbw as out?

As the whole thing was based on him believing there was an edge, personally I feel in that case the third umpire should just make a call by himself.

Yeah, really really good. I know he was always been a talent (if I remember correctly the Lions were playing him before he had a match for Yorkshire) but he's way outperforming how he did for Yorkshire.
