I knew we were fecked as soon as I read thisTwo test matches!!
It's a travesty really. Fancy India to win both semi comfortably even after today - SA's batting is to fragile.

Goes to check the score...
He did an interview around a year ago where he pretty much admitted he just wanted to play test cricket whether that was for England or SA. Don't think he'd be eligible until 2025 though. Good to see him eventually get the opportunity anyway.Bedingham looks class. Will England try to steal him?
Rabada, Cummins and Bumrah are easily the best bowlers of their generation. Bit sad that Bumrah and Rabada probably won’t play as many tests as their skills deserve.
Archer should have had a chance at making that list

Crawley and Gill are going to score some of the prettiest 20s and 30s we’ve ever seen in the England/India series next month.
This is some run of Cricket South Africa are on - they looked like they were falling apart/giving up 12 months back.
Their batting still isn’t great, losing Elgar is a massive blow. Their ability to churn out quick bowlers is amazing. Rabada, Ngidi, Nortje, Jansen, Burger, Coetzee is some core.
Thought only the caf hated on this wasteman but we're not alone!

That and it doesn’t feel like your team actually cares/wants to be here for this test (& not away on some holiday). Not to take anything away from our bowling, but some of the wickets you guys gave away have been cheap.Any team playing with two pub level bowlers like shardul and prasidh deserve to lose.
The scary part will happen once Ashwin and jadeja also stop playing tests. Our home domination will also disappear. We aren't interested + are on the way down. It will take us a year + to get back to decent. Rohit and Kohli are old and we have no replacement in test cricket. Our quick bowling (other than Bumrah and Shami) isn't great either. We need more quicks coming through.

With plenty to spare in factThis match could end today..
Our cricket teams produce very good fast bowlers in a similar way our rugby teams tend to produce monster forward players.
Yeah, very fast bowler friendly. Isn’t it similar to what you produce in the UK or what they produce over in Aus?SA produces fantastic cricket pitches too.

Aargh thanks mate. I guess it helps a little with the variety having vastly different weather/climates throughout the different South African provinces/states.It's a hybrid of the two i'd say. England produce very good pitches in general, but sometimes ours can be on the slow side. Australia skews slightly flat IMO.
Don't worry we fly out to India with three days prep for the first test so we should get your confidence back up and running.
India are missing their best batsman in Rishabh Pant. The question is if he can ever come back to the level he was at before.
Surely Kohli is their best batsman?
