Wasn't expecting Moeen Ali's name to be on the top of this list. Nearly 150 strike rate WTF?

Yeah he’s been absolutely on one this year

It feels like he either gets about 3 runs or 100 runs. I love him.

Final T20 game to be played in Lahore today. Hopefully it passes without any incident & the crowd get to see a good game.

Anyone been watching the Hong Kong Super Sixes?

Final coming up later between Pakistan and South Africa

Comfortable win for Pakistan. Another solid performance by the Pakistani bowlers, nice to have Amir back & firing.

Good atmosphere in the stadium.

Fears the popular discussion of science might suffer after the postponement of Richard Dawkins’ Australian tour were dispelled by Warne, who explained his somewhat tongue-in-cheek take on Darwin’s theory of natural selection.

“If we’ve evolved from monkeys, then why haven’t those ones evolved?” Warne asked his fellow contestant, the dancer Bonnie Lythgoe, as they lounged on a riverbank in South Africa’s Kruger national park.

“Because, I’m saying, aliens. We started from aliens.”

“Look at those pyramids, Bonnie,” Warne continued. “You couldn’t do them. You couldn’t pull those ropes, huge bits of brick and make it perfectly symmetrical. Couldn’t do it. So who did it?”

Shane Warne, you moron.

India needs 92 off 38 balls in T20 vs NZ

Kohli and Dhoni at the wicket and on the charge ...

Kohli out. It's over. Shame as it would have been fun viewing.

Dhoni still swinging though.

And 2 more than SRT

It's not like SkySports but I think their graphic was wrong, just checked a few websites and Gavaskar was 2nd quickest after Sir Don Bradman to the landmark after 93 innings, then 21st century(98 innings), 22nd century(101 innings) and 23rd century(109 innings)

Then Tendulkar was quicker than Gavaskar to their respective 24-29 centuries

Kohli is slowly getting to be top 2 in Tests right now. Getting better than root and Williamson imo. Smith is still better though

Can't stand Sanjay Manjrekar blabbering about how the players wearing mask isn't good for the 'image' of the game, and blah blah. There is obviously bad weather, and its affecting Sri Lanka. Shouldn't have scheduled a match here. There should be some standards set for air pollution level too for the commencement of games.

Kohli... wow. Incredible batsman. 11 scores of 50+ in his last 22 test matches. His averages in all forms of the game since Jan 2016:

Tests: 77
ODIs: 82
T20: 67

He really has been incredible. Here's another one.
No: of double centuries in June 2016: 0
No: of double centuries in Dec 2017 : 6

Think there was the West Indies tour last year too. After that it's been NZ, England, Bangladesh all playing in India. SA series next will be a big test, followed by England tour in the summer. But, still can't argue with his numbers.

It kind of does as it remains to be seen if he is putting up great numbers as he is playing at home or is he finally filling his potential in tests as well.

In Aus: 8 16 0 992 169 62.00
In SA: 2 4 0 272 119 68.00
In NZ: 2 4 1 214 105 71.33

He's matured so much since these tours, so you expect more of the same from him.

The stick Sri Lanka are getting from some quarters(all Indian) is ridiculous.

It's India who are at fault for hosting a test match in Delhi.

Awful conditions.

Delhi Test under threat due to smog

Whether the third and final Test between Sri Lanka and India in Delhi will continue remains to be seen after an assurance had been given by match referee David Boon to study the prevailing conditions in the Indian capital further before taking a decision.

Boon, the former Australian opener, was seen at the Sri Lankan dressing room after the second day's play and Cricbuzz learns that an assurance had been given to study whether the conditions were suitable for a high-intensity sporting event.

The match referee has indicated that if both captains agree the match could be abandoned, or if doctors feel that it is unsafe to continue the game, the game could be called off. Otherwise, the officials will observe how the Indian players cope with things before taking a decision on whether the game could go on.

At least four Indian players were believed to have been wearing masks in the dressing room before the lunch break, including Kuldeep Yadav and Rohit Sharma. The Sri Lankans then sent their physiotherapist Nirmalan Dhanabalasingham to purchase masks and several players took the field wearing masks after lunch. Eventually by mid-afternoon, all players were wearing masks.

"The bowlers obviously were struggling. The match referee was in our change room when Suranga Lakmal started vomiting. Doctors were in there as well. We had oxygen cylinders and it was tough," Sri Lanka's coach Nic Pothas told journalists.

"It is an abnormal case. Match referee and umpires will file a report and we will leave it with the ICC," Pothas added.

The Sri Lankan players have been advised to eat lot of sweets and drink plenty of water to stay out of trouble. India were on the field for 44.3 overs on the second day and Murali Vijay, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ishant Sharma seemed to be struggling.

Delhi's pollution levels reached a significant high in recent times. Last year, two Ranji Trophy games, involving Gujarat-Bengal and Tripura-Hyderabad were abandoned due to pollution.

Last month, ahead of the Delhi Half Marathon cardiologists had warned that the event posed serious threats for athletes. During the Under-17 FIFA World Cup, tournament director Javier Ceppi went on record saying that sport events in Delhi can not be held from October to February.

Is the government doing anything about this? Or is this their method of population control.

Smog is mainly because of crop burning in the neighbouring state of Punjab. Delhi govt tried by bringing an odd even rule on automobiles akin to China. But so far ineffective. They banned fireworks for celebrating Diwali too. Not really effective though

Crop burning is a horrendous practice. It's actually worse than large forest fires if you look at it. Imagine tens of thousands of acres of farm land being burnt in Haryana and Punjab every year. In terms of land area, it is worse than even the largest wildfires that happen in the US. Very bad practice that needs to be stopped. Doesn't help that the region gets fog during the winter months and Delhi, a massive densely populated city is nearby.
