Have a question for India cricket fans and international team fans in general:

What did you all make of the Star India 'Mouka Muaka' ads from a few years ago?

What about their latest ones:

Easily the most creative ad campaign I've seen. No matter how much time and effort you or I or any other person (atleast from the subcontinent) for that matter puts, we won't be able to make an ad even half this engaging. But then again, I'm not in the business of making ads, so ..

Yeah I loved it. It touched a beautiful insight and was charming banter. I also loved how it evolved showing that Star TV had a real sense of humour and self depreciation.

Why was it so popular in India when it came out? Did people think it went too far? Did Pakistan fans get upset and offended or did they share the joke?

So srilanka being walloped by india. Now that is a surprise.

On a serious note, I expect india to do well this time in their overseas tour . Solid side with good pace bowlers. The addition of pandya is important especially when we play in England or Australia or south africa. We have always missed a fast bowling all-rounder, hopefully pandya is our answer.

They really should cancel this Natwest T20 tournament which has been plagued by rain delays and match cancellations.

A match was going on this evening and was a rain delay after the Notts finished their batting. The rain cleared before 9 and the umpires decided to inexplicably delay for an extra 30 mins before resuming the game.

It then starts raining again a few minutes before the match resumed and the match has now been abandoned.

Nature of the beast really.

It's going to worse when they put it into a block with franchises.

Was at Edgebaston tonight watching the T20 between Worcester and Birmingham. We ended up winning by 5 runs, funnily enough Birmingham were penalised 5 runs after a midfield hit a helmet on the pitch

I've never seen that live before.

There's a lot said about test cricket dying, but I think there's a very real chance that cricket itself is dying.

Nothing seems to be done to re-energize sport in countries like WI and Sri Lanka. SA are heading there.

We're going to be left with about 5 countries.

Sri Lanka are getting absolutely pummeled in this test series here.

Pandya has that XFactor. Great innings.

Could be an huge player overseas for India. Can bowl 140+ consistently too.

According to recent report Morne Morkel might be going for Kolpak route. Would be staggering. He is a regular test match player with a stable contract in IPL.

I just read about this.. So that means he's going to call it quits with SA? Apparently he needs to do it before brexit too..

Wow! I'd be annoyed if that actually happened. He's got no reason to do it.

India just tore Sri Lanka a new one. Dare I say, we're a class above any other nation at this moment.

While the comment is bad and reads as a racist comment.. Would he really be a racist? He seems to be getting along great with everyone in the commentary team.. Maybe his frustration about not getting one slipped over..

Been watching a few CPL games as I'm seemingly always up at stupid-o-clock... Damn, the quality is terrible. At least some of the fans are gorgeous

Games I've caught are very low scoring for a T20 competition. Number of average spinners dominating in Windies domestic cricket is a farce.

Bangaldesh seems a very tough place to play these days. Very challenging conditions for non sub continent teams.

Sub continent teams struggle there too since past 4 years. The team is also much much better than credited.

Bangladesh lead Australia by 88 runs with 9 wickets remaining

250 will be a tough chase for Aus, if they can post that.

We are not getting anything over 150

Warner is a liability atm and Kahwaja cant play spin at all.

Batting collapse will most likely happen.

A cricket club declared on 18-1, lost the title-deciding match but won the title:

Not in the spirit of the game, but intriguing tactics

Yeah was just reading about that. Didn't know you could declare in a one day game. They might live to regret it though (hope they do) - Something similar happened in 1979 between Somerset and Worcestershire. Somerset hadn't broken any specific law by declaring on 1 for 0 but they still ended up being booted out of the competition by the cricket board via a 17-1 vote (with even the Somerset representative voting in favour of being expelled).

A new low for Australia against spin after they did reasonably well against India as well.

you predicted it correctly!

Bangladesh continues to make substantive progress in all forms of the game.

Congrats to Bangladesh for their first test win over Aussies. For a brief while it looked like Warner was going to emulate Ponting and take Aus to the win like Ricky did in Fatullah a decade ago but it was not to be. Three test wins under an year against top 8 (Eng, Aus - home; SL - away) is impressive.
