With Plunkett carded at 7 I'm not sure we've got the depth to be able to afford Hales departing anytime soon.

Livingston just seems a perfect example of why not to pick someone in a 20 over match, because you think they could make the test team and just want to give them some international experience.
He's a decent player tbf even in this format.
I think the problem is that they've moved T20 into a block for this year again and the List A stuff finished a while ago for most sides so most of these players have just been playing First Class cricket for the last month or so. It's difficult to change gears.
Is he? I'm slipping, of late, in my consistency of checking Lancashire's scorecards but the average remains a bit low.

Meandering around the world to be a T20 gun-for-hire would be a bit of a waste I think. He's not a keeper anymore and I think South Africa are trying to lessen his workload. The problem is South Africa have no one to replace him, in any form. They need the core of Amla, Du Plessis, De Villiers and De Kock to compete. Their A team just got smashed by Sussex and the England Lions in successive games.

When he first came in he had a reputation for being a big hitter with the bat too but he's actually ended up being a worse batsman than Plunkett. Reckon the other Curran (Sam) will take his place soon.

Icc needs to stop scheduling this meaningless tour. I miss those old days when there was an annual triangular or quadrangular tournament in sharjah and Toronto. Make cricket more interesting and stop with the meaningless tours.
The mismanagement of West Indies cricket is personified by Jason Holder. He can't bat, he can't bowl, yet somehow he's captain of the ODI and test teams, and that's not even getting into all the other questionable selections. Cameron and the current board are an absolute cancer to Caribbean cricket.
