Not sure about this day-night first class cricket in England
As if anyone is really going to want to go and watch at this time of night, freezing their bollocks off and getting home late. I know no one is watching it anyway, but this isn't going to work, only benefit I can see is to give (international) players exposure to playing in it

Interesting test squad for England, surely Ballance's last chance. Rashid's home test wait continues. I wonder if the selectors are tempted to play Bairstow as pure batsman and bring Foakes in.
Hopefully forever; anyone that watched him in India would know why he's not getting in the squad. Bowled 2 or 3 garbage balls per over to let the pressure off and then picked up cheap tail end wickets to mask his figures.

Nah, he's so out of nick it would be a disaster. Far better to shield him from the glare of international sport and let him work it out in the County Championship. More than a few England talents have been ruined because too much has been asked of them too soon.
@NinjaFletch I'm in London the first week of August. I notice Middlesex are playing Warwickshire. Is getting tickets as simple as walking up to the stadium and buying one?

Yeah, good shout. Lord's is still a great ground to visit if you have time to kill and haven't been before. You won't have any problems getting in to County Championship game and tickets are £5 for the last day.

So glad India lost to West Indies the way they did. Chasing 189 or whatever it was, and they still couldnt do it. Was so boring to watch. Dhonis idea of taking it to the last over whether they are chasing 100 or 300 makes for some dull stuff.
Yeah India have big problem with their approach to games imo. It's just way too negative, seems like they've decided to take their game back 30 years for no reason at all.
