And Guptill too
Baz McCullum to retire from international cricket in February. Williamson will captain NZ in the WT20. Baz will finish on 101 consecutive test matches since his debut which is a record.
Amir back with the Pakistan team has led to Hafeez & Azhar Ali boycotting the training camp.
I respect their opinions & appreciate they had to deal with shit as a consequence of Amir's decision to cheat, but he's served his time and deserves another chance. Plus, he's a great bowler and you choose your best players. Cannot wait to see Amir & Yasir Shah bowl in tandem
Would you have any problems sharing a dressing room with or playing in the same team as Mohammad Amir?
Shoaib Malik: Not at all, actually I’m fond of him and I always feel like acting like an elder brother (senior) to him when he is around, and this has been the case since he first joined the team. He is a good boy. I know you are asking me this question because of the mistake Amir made in the past or the comments a few players might have made, or probably both. They are both wrong in my opinion, but then who am I to judge? Judging is for Allah alone and He teaches me to forgive, as forgiving is a sign of Godliness and He loves forgiving.
What Amir did was wrong, and the authorities at the time decided the punishment for him. At that time there were voices asking to let him go since he was young and naive but no consideration was given to this point. I respected that. And now if the authorities feel that Mohammad Amir and Salman Butt have served their time and should be back in the team, I will also respect that.
Flat track bullies. Voges couldn't buy a run in testing conditions in England, now he has become one of the few batsmen to score 1000 runs in his debut test year. Averaging 600 (!) against the worst Windies side in the history of the game. Might even be the worst ever test team.
Hopefully nonsense teams like Windies and Zim lose their test status soon. Test cricket needs fresh blood. Bring in the Irish.
Big reason why i did not bother going on boxing day.The West Indies are just so bad. Hardly even watched because there is nothing even close to a contest.
True, not even funny how 1 sided it isI've never been so uninterested in a test match as I am in Aus vs WI.
Just a complete waste of time.

Oh dear Yasir.... (Provisionally suspended by ICC after a positive dope test)
I was thinking this during the England series. Every half decent Pak bowler over the last 7-8 years has had their career ruined because of controversies or injuries, what would be Yasir's downfall? Well here it is.
Wow.. Pretty brutal attack that on Raja by Yousuf.. Any past history between these two? Isn't Ramiz Raja looked at like a legend ala Miandad??Yousuf and Ramiz Raja going at each other over Amir!

Sorry for those who don't understand urdu/Hindi.

The irony. Two of cricket's biggest match fixers arguing about a match fixer. Only in Pakistan.
Rameez is well respected because of his commenting abilities, not his actual cricket. He was in the team Imran Khan accused of being ready to throw the final against England in 1992 - before Imran (aided by Javed) bet all Pakistan players' match fees into winning. Among other matches they probably threw in that competition. Only Imran and Miandad came out (come out) without any suspicion of treachery.
Yousaf and Inzi ran the biggest cartel in Pakistan cricketing history, producing the most dodgiest results ever seen. It was during their reign that I totally gave up on Pakistan cricket. They may ultimately have been puppets to a higher order but to me they were the faces that I was supposed to respect. Anything but.
So yeah, the irony of two match fixers insulting one another over another match fixer. Reminds me of Pakistani politics. Two of the biggest criminals Pakistan has ever seen fighting over who's corrupt. The show must go on.
Interesting.. Never knew this.. Always thought Yousuf Youhana was one of the good guys of the pakistani team..The irony. Two of cricket's biggest match fixers arguing about a match fixer. Only in Pakistan.

I seem to have grossly overestimated his importance to pakistani cricket..Ramiz is as much legend as Sanjay Manjrekar. Average cricketers, good English speakers. Nothing more.
