Could Barkley be the answer?

If people are pissed off with Henrikh Mihkitaryan then I am not sure about what these people would say when Barkley would start to stink up the place here?

Enough with half solutions. Mikhi, mata, ozil are all good players but we need some world class in attack. I would prefer rather new right winger but if we are talking now about no10 then griezmann is only player that we should buy. Him or nobody

Makes no sense. If you can't get Griezmann you can still strengthen.

In before someone does the classic "if Barkley is the answer, what on earth is the question"

And buy another mata or lingard or mikhi....
That is the point. We have depth and quality on that position. But we don't have extra quality.

If the question is who is the worst player we could buy then yes Barkley is the answer

FFS.

We lose and here we go. Another lose and people will start talking about getting Cleverley back.

I would take him as a back up to Pogba, but that's it. I wouldn't want him in the first 11 though

Nope. Zlatan, Ozil and Greizmann are the answer.

We need to have an Attacking squad which are rotated with high quality maintained. No more Lingaard coming in. City are great at it this season.

1 in every 16 games yeah and never against big teams apart from that one good game he had against Barça for Real after he got slandered for not doing it enough.
The myth lives on. Ozil was consistently world class for Real, has been world class for Arsenal except in games in which Arsenal as a team are out of their depth and is world class for Germany.

Why would they take him when they have alli.

To improve squad competition and cover ... and also because Poch will likely improve him considerably and possible deploy him in a different role - more CM - from that at Everton.

People dont want ozil but such threads are made , Barkley can only be the answer to one question, who is shittest everton player apart from rooney?

Barkley would only be good as a squad option. And even then not a particularly great one.

Barkley shows fleeting amount of talent but his biggest problem has always been his footballing IQ and decision making. I don't think we (and especially Mourinho) would be the one to be able to fix that.

If Barkley is the answer we are not asking the right questions.

We need a consistent #10 that can get the ball to the forwards quickly and connect midfield to attack. Better set piece delivery would be an added bonus.

No more budget options like Mkhitaryan and Mata.

How are Mata and Miki "budget" options? We paid big money for both and both are extremely good players with a good reputation prior to us signing them.

We do not need Barkley, but to brand about stupid comments about mata/miki is just pointless

What we paid has nothing to do with what they are as players. Factoring in the price tag is the stupidity here.

Fluid and runs well with the ball, would love to see him playing.

Swap 1 shite Scouser for another? great idea.

I know it's painful after dropping points. I know it can be scary but let fear not take away all of our self respect. Ross Barkley is not the answer. He is not even on Matas or Mikis level and those two players should be sold. We should be adding quality not watering down the little quality we have.

No, Barkley is not the answer. We need something but it's definitely not him.

He's a lot more talented than Lingard if their was a swap deal on offer.

In the "Take a punt category". Right price we should take him because he does have talent and is English. Should not be a main target for stupid money though. Has proven nothing as yet.

What about the fact they are good players, who came to us with a high reputation, both in league winning teams previously?

Your "budget" comment is the only stupidity here

Not sure what you're saying, but Mkhitaryan was shambolic under Klopp and has only won the Ukranian and Armenian league and Mata has never won a league title.

Would rather him than Lingard, Miki or Mata.

Think he'll end up at Spurs and would be a good move for him.

Like Martial you mean?

Droves of people still think that buying players is the answer. It's cute.

I can't wait until we fork out another £100 million on Griezmann and the poor cnut plays like a halfwit. What next? Should we bring in Jonjo Shelvey to combat our perceived lack of creativity from the centre of midfield?

We've hired three managers in a row that in spite of spending hundreds of million of pounds on players are as of yet unable to get the team scoring lots of goals and looking great going forward. But buying more players is apparently the answer, as is always the case after a defeat.

Freebie weeee all aboard, why not, anyone else is free this summer?

Its difficult to understand what you're actually saying in your post, it's very contradictory.

Are you saying we shouldn't buy any players and just use what we have and that, to your point, will get the team scoring goals and looking great going forward (we are 2nd top scorers in the league btw)? Or are you saying its just one game and its nothing to worry about?
