They beat City 1-0 first game, without KaneIt didnt with Nuno.
Think getting a manager of that stature has given them a boost.
To put Vitesse in context, 538 has them ranked between West Brom and Sheffield United in terms of the two closest English sides.
Just conceded a set piece goal, but Spurs have been far more attacking than our usual football under OGS. Keeping possession, looking solid, and pressing high.

In fairness, Conte is extremely unlikely to replicate the manager bounce we got out of Ole. Lets see if Kane can start scoring goals again

Apparently coming back to England was a big draw. His daughter Victoria wanted to come back to london as did his family and they wanted her to continue her education in the UK.
Footballing wise the draw was obviously the amount of money to available to spend in PL compared to rest of Europe bar PSG.

New manager bounce lasted 30 mins

Full backs definitely much more envolved, Royal probably the best player so far.

Its interesting that Kane is playing as the LF and Son is playing through the middle. Almost like a creator role for Kane.

Man Utd had the opportunity to sack Ole and hire Conte. There will always be comparisons between the two now that the board decided it was better to keep Ole.
It’s a good game so far. Was just curious to see how Spurs will look and I just assisted to a very good 5 goal thriller of a first half.
It has been surprisingly entertaining football.
