Conte | Spurs Manager

Conte had problems with the board over spending on the team at Juve, Chelsea and Inter.

He won't last one transfer marker under Levy and will just ask out before the season even starts.

Honestly, Real Madrid makes the best option if Zidane leaves.

Otherwise, another Italian team maybe.

True, but would Real back him? Would the dressing room not be too big for him? To be fair they're turfing some big names anyway
 
I could see him going to PSG if they do get rid of Poch.

Might be a good thing for us, he'll have loads of money to spend on the lads we don't want.

Don't think Madrid have as much big dressing room as they used to previously. They only have about 5 or so top players and most are just a step down. I think he'll be fine. He'll of course have problems with Perez over spending as well, but Madrid will have bigger chance to bring him players than Spurs.

Definitely, but its pointless unless he gets what he wants, he isn't scared to air dirty laundry. No fecking way Conte comes to us without iron clad promises of backing. If available and possible id take Conte yesterday.

Yeah, Always seems to have a problem with spending. I haven’t run the numbers so I am not sure if he ‘lives in the real world ‘ . Or whether he would be unhappy with anything less than PSG/City level spending, if they were unfettered by things like Financial Fair play.
 
Real Madrid? Zidane is leaving and Allegri is rumoured to be the frontrunner. I think Conte has done more than Allegri.
 
There's at a minimum loads of noise around this guy's future every summer. Certainly seems to come with baggage. I have some sympathy with him on this occasion but seeing him leave is the least surprising thing I've read as no matter where he is, he seems halfway out the door at the end of each season.

Agreed. One of the reasons I wouldnt want him anywhere near the team I support.
 
The timing is incredible for Real Madrid.
 
Does this mean we can get Skriniar for a good price? Wouldn't mind Hakimi either.

Do Real even have any money? I'm sure all the clubs left in that Super League are clinging on because they're in dire straits.

Thats before UEFA have even finished with them.

But with Real Madrid, they have the choice between Conte vs Allegri. Allegri would suit Real Madrid better. Conte record in Europe just damn sucks. With Real Madrid, being shit in Europe can be a sackable offense.
 
The thing with Conte is that he just wants to have a say in who is brought and not to have his best players sold from underneath him. That doesn't really sound like a crazy thing for a manager to want.
 
People have seen this guy quit managing for many corrupt owners and think he'd work under the Glazers? Besides that, there's absolutely no way Ole is leaving, it's way too political at United.
 
I'll be shocked if United don't hire Conte. OK he won't stay for 5 years but almost no manager does these days but I'm sure he'd finish with 90+ points at least once in next two seasons.
 
What is crazy is that we never went for him when mourinho left, the squad back then was absolutely perfect for him but our club is so terribly managed thatthey couldn't figure it out and went with a manager that has produced 0 trophies in 2 and a half seasons now.
 
Ye I never understood United not going to Conte.
He is the best manager to rebuild the team back to PL victory in the short term.
He lasts 3years but that will give at least a PL win to United.
Just he wants Lukaku so get ready :P
