Confirmed Transfers (Summer 2013)

Several as well as clubs in Holland. He had a loan deal to PSV breakdown last fall due to yet another injury and they continued to show interest this summer. He's a great footballer, very likable and talented. But he's not elite, he will make mistakes and he will get caught out despite a terrific footballing brain & motor.

Who knows, maybe Stoke would be a perfect fit but he's not really that big by Premiership standards
We'll see how Mark Hughes uses him. He's not a barbarian like Pulis so the boy may have a chance.

Swansea go and sign all these Spanish players for next to nothing then all of a sudden blow 6 million on jonjo bloody shelvey. Just goes to show how overrated and overpriced English players are these days.

I read that one of the main reasons they are buying him is because of the homegrown rule...

Paulinho now officially confirmed (the fee is widely reported to be £17m, including potential add-ons):

Monaco have continued their summer spending spree with the signing of France international Jeremy Toulalan from Malaga.
The 29-year-old midfielder has penned a two-year contract with Monaco with the option of a further year on top, the newly-promoted Ligue 1 club have announced on their website.
Toulalan, who will be presented by his new club on Monday, joins the likes of Radamel Falcao, Ricardo Carvalho, James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho as new arrivals at the big-spending Monte Carlo club, who are bankrolled by ambitious Russian owner Dmitry Rybolovlev.
Monaco sporting director Vadim Vasilyev said on his club's website: "We are happy with the signature of Jeremy. His skills, his European and international experience, will be an important asset for our team this season."
Toulalan joined Malaga from Lyon in 2011 and played 57 competitive matches for the Primera Division outfit. The former Nantes player has won 36 caps with France.

Really good signing.

I really hope he proves me wrong but I think this could be a really poor signing.

Everton already have a #2, don't they? Might get the bastard wearing a normal shirt number for a striker, now.

Which honestly isn't saying much...

The fees I kept hearing were £5-6.5 million. He's 29 and his goal scoring record hasn't been overly great. Id rather we looked at someone younger even if it meant spending a bit more which I think we could have.

Just for good measure Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Shakhtar Donetsk to Dortmund should probably be added in here as well.

Arsenal should have been in for him.
I struggle to find a player who'd suit them less than Gomez. They rely heavily on the passing game and pace, he doesn't have either.

Thanks for the updates guys, laptop should be back in the morning so will get this properly updated.

Norwich are certainly strengthening ,be interesting to see how they get on next season.
