Confirmed Transfers (Summer 2013)

Updated.

Regarding the Cuevas deal, have you got a link?

Lago Aspas Celta Vigo to dippers for 7.7mil having medical today.

Jores Okore, FC Nordsjaelland -> Aston Villa. not sure on fee

Leandro Bacuna, Groningen -> Villa, undisclosed.

Okore was also undisclosed.

I think Okore will prove to be a good signing for Villa. He can't have been too expensive either.

Curious signing. Watched a lot of him at Sao Paulo while keeping an eye on Lucas and he never looked anywhere near as good as the various "top 10 local Brazilian talents" lists suggested. Not very disciplined, not very defensively aware and lacking the skill to make much of an impact in attacking positions. He's a big unit, has a decent short passing game and times his runs forward pretty well but that's about all I saw.

Carvajal on the other hand looks a shrewd signing. Different option to Arbeloa and providing he settles in well he'll make that spot his own.

I found it a bit weird as well. He only played once for the first team in his time there. He's not even that young being 21 years old. Surely they could take someone from their reserve/youth team and give a chance every now and again instead of buying Casemiro.

Cheers people, keep them coming.

Will update this tomorrow afternoon.

I'm sure Carvajal will have no problem settling in since he initially came from Real and got his football education from the club.

Casemiro has been on loan prior to his transfer so they must have saw enough potential to warrant the move.

111 appearances for Sao Paulo and 3 caps for Brazil and stints with their youth squads as well as having played for the B team last season and making his debut under Mourinho. Can't be that bad.

I'm not saying he's bad I just don't see the point of buying him when he's hardly playing. And at the moment they don't even have a manager.

Andreas Cornelius from FC Copenhagen to Cardiff City for around £7.5 mil.

That's quite a bit of money. I am not at all sure he should be worth that much. He's still very young though, so maybe he'll prove me wrong.

It's a bit too early for him if you ask me.
Quite an influx of Danes to the league this summer.

Which means we'll get to see lots of shit teams on tv just because they have danes, yay!
