Confirmed Transfers (Summer 2013)

Tell you what Southampton will be dark horses for a good season

I've been impressed by the transfer business of both Southampton and Fulham this summer - they'll both do quite well I reckon.

Bent and Berbatov, and Lambert and Osvaldo are two very strong strike partnerships for teams you'd have expected to be in the middle to lower half of the table at the end of the season.

Fulham's signing of Taraabt is also a strong one, in my opinion; he's a great player but needs to be managed properly. QPR is hardly the ideal place for anyone to be playing their best football, as shown by the number of high quality players who had awful seasons there over the past two years.

Norwich looking good. Elmander joins them from Galatasaray (season long loan)

Jason Puncheon from Southampton to Crystal Palace(Season long loan)

Cardiff City sign Uruguayan U-20 international defender Maximiliano Amondarain on a four-year deal.

Hmm, I seem to remember something about him. Let me check wiki.... .... .... yup. He's a forward and is 192cm. That's a Stoke signing alright.

Tom Carroll and Ekotto from Spurs to QPR on loan.

Ceballos on loan from Spurs to FC Arouca (Portugal).

Why is Harry Redknapp only signing either present or former Spurs players? Seems a bit retarded to me.

I guess it's because he's more sure of what he's getting ... less of a gamble.

I actually expect QPR to win a place back in the Prem this season. In Carroll in particular he's getting a young CM of whom Spurs have high hopes, so I hope he gets plenty of playing time and expect that he will.

Former World Cup finalist Pascal Chimbonda signs a three-month deal with Carlisle United.
The 34-year-old France defender, who has been training with the Blues this week, will be in the squad for tomorrow's League One game at Oldham.
Chimbonda, formerly of Tottenham, Wigan and Blackburn, had been playing with non-league Market Drayton to stay fit after he left Doncaster last year.
