Club refusing to deny rumours?

Its as good as confirmation that!

While we're at it, get rid of Round and Lumsden and demote P. Neville whilst also hiring his brother too.

well..if United aren't denying it, they might as well announce it now. There would be no point in saying to Moyes..'hey, you're sacked...but carry on for four games anyway'

True. But the announcement may have to wait - dont they have to announce to the stock exchange first, officially?

Wonder if the stock price will rise?

He probably had some sort of clause for UCL qualification in his contract meaning he gets a lower severance.

Defeat yesterday and confirmation if non qualification probably helps the club make the decision.

I hope we stay in 7th spot, just go out there and play who will be here next season.

If Giggs plays Young

Agreed with most of the sentiments here.

Moyes is a nice guy, but he lacks any sort of character, charisma or personality to be in charge of a world class football club. He is not, and never was, a winner. His style of play, much like his character has been insipid and bland, and his interaction with the media has been nothing short of shocking.

I think he peaked at Everton.

Having said that, I wish him all the best at whatever club he goes to.

I hope players like Rooney are brought back down to earth/ sold as well, by whoever the next man in charge will be.

You couldn't even give me one lousy round Moyes. You will always be a loser... Now take your cheque for 27 million and get out of my sight!

Not my work, just saw it on twitter

Made my weekend this.

At least with Giggs you can be sure he will be more attacking. SAF has been like a father to Giggs and I'm sure he has taken in a lot of knowledge from SAF knowing that one day he would be stepping in to management. Let him have a crack of the whip, even if it is until the end of the season.

We are happy and we know that Klopp's our man (clap clap)

We are happy and we know it, 'cause we just got rid if Moyesy

Anyone but Klopp. He and Dortmund are like catnip for cnuts. The entire forum would become like the Kagawa thread.

United is making the right decision. He's probably been sacked already if it's getting this much coverage.

Now the question is, who will be available this summer to take over? I still believe Hiddink would be a fantastic choice for you guys.

Hopefully. Started to get a feeling after yesterday it was coming.

Benched until he looks bothered/form picks up/looks fitter.

I would start Danny up front for the remaining games. Show him the love!

I can see Moyes ending up at Rangers, no pressure job, should end up back in the SPL soon.

He can't have much self esteem left, he's a broken man.

Feels weird, it's just not the United way is it? Even though he clearly isn't the right man.

No, i'm taking the piss. But i did hear he is into all that star sign bollocks quite heavily, i don't know how much it affects his management though.

 though didn't that France manager (can't remember his name) do something about star signs. I know he was bonkers

Clearly out of his depth, and should be replaced after that Newcastle game. Now the future looks much brighter without him. And as Einstein said, every mistake is one step closer to the solution.

#Kloppin

It will probably fall, given that he will get a big severance package as well as compensation to be paid to the club of the incoming manager.
