has 1 journalist just put two and two together and made a sack article, and the rest have just copied?Surely not, as so many of them seem all over it at once.

Imagine if it's all baloney?Moyes seemed insistent thatplans are afoot for next season...

The Telegraph and Guardian tweets (first two to write about this) were within a minute of one another. It appears as if the club has briefed the papers.

Typical Glazers? Lets discuss that in the many Glazer threads. One of the many ones that detail their leech like destruction of the club. This thread is about something entirely different.

You were the one who used the opportunity to take a ridiculous speculative tweet in favor of your anti-glazer agenda. Dont whine when people call you out on it.

SSN just want people to watch their channel for hours aimlessly.

22 page thread formed in about an hour...

And it looks like it is just smoke and mirrors and our little gollum is here to stay.

This season blows.

They can't sit on this for 24 hours it's too big. He will either be gone or given a vote of confidence before the day is out.

Its like the Fergie retirement thing. He was never announcing it like he did but said cos the media were all over it he decided to announce early.

I'd take a pigeon managing the team over Moyes. The fact that you are a real human being makes you over qualified.

Um... yes... I'm an actual human being.

I'll tell you what I'm definitely not. I'm definitely not pigeon who has nicked someone's laptop... No, sir. No chance... :nervous:

Sky saying that the club have said Moyes is still the manager but BBC (more reliable) are saying they are refusing to give definite answers:

Sky sports news have just said he is due to be given the bullet in the next 24 hours.

He's done.

Thoroughly disappointed if this is to be true. I cannot in a million years beleive this decision was made by the footballing experts in the United camp. Completely and utterly shocked.

Wasted £10 on the fecking banner.

All the main newspapers put their articles on line at 2.15pm. The only plausible way that happens is if they were all handed the story by a senior source at United with a 2.15pm embargo.

Imagine the reaction if he isn't sacked now, if United are monitoring social media (how could the marketing dept. not?) they must realise that Moyes hasn't only just 'lost the players' but that the fans are virtually unanimously supportive of sacking him.

They have a social media manager. Highly doubt the board pay much interest in that sort of stuff though.

Why the tears at the Sky Sports tweet? Stating Moyes IS the manager is just factually correct.

Well, even if that's true it helps out summer planning by a couple of weeks. But, say if United had beaten them comfortably and gone on a streak and just missed out on the Champions League, you're saying there's a 0% chance he would have stayed?

I think the writing has been on the wall for the past couple of months. He was always going to go in the summer, but now most likely it will happen today/tomorrow

I will still never back against utd no matter what and I find anyone that does a bit pathetic

You stated that something you don't even know is true is "typical Glazers", you dolt.
You seem entirely unreasonable don't you? A journalist tweets analysis of the unfolding story, you dismiss his analysis and I comment on it being poor form from our owners IF true. IF the Glazers are forcing Moyes out without sacking him that is poor form from the Glazers, and typical of their behaviour. If you can't see that you are the dolt. The latest update from SSN quoting sources inside the club is consistent with Honeigstein's analysis. Just because you don't like the messenger don't shoot him. You absolute dolt.

Yup. No way all the other papers wrote their stories so quickly after the first broke. This is being briefed.

Stupid comment. And you're usually smarter than that Feeky.

By that token where are all the "the match going fans are wankers for not voicing their disapproval" brigade?

Clearly made no difference at all to what is a straight up business decision.
I do think some match-goers were idiots who were singing Moyes songs as a fashion statement. It could have backfired if the cnut managed even basic competence. I'd be part of a group singing "every single one of us will stand by David Moyes" and I'd know none of them even rated him.

You're saying the Everton result had no effect on this? It was the perfect demonstration of how limited he is as a manager. The final straw.

Not happy Giggs is favourite to take over.
I just think it will be another step backwards.
None managerial experience at all

Also, why are people upset with the SSN Tweet. Seems positive to me

24 hours, for feck sake. Just give him his 20+ million and announce it now

It will compensation packages and and press announcements.

He probably won't even be due compensation due to his failing to achieve contractual obligations.

Then all the club have to do is deny it and make it known he will still be manager come next season. Yet all we've had from them is an ambiguous response claiming he is 'still' manager.

He's gone IMO, the papers aren't all going simultaneously wax lyrical because of of the gut feeling of one journalist.

Hopefully we replace the Chosen One banner with a picture of Van Gaal's cock and balls. For inspiration.

You're all going to go into meltdown pretty soon, confident he'll still be here next season. Money in the summer and afforded no slip ups after that.

Also, the idea of Giggs taking over if he did go is terrifying.

Is that no being said assuming he is sacked now for Giggs to take over the remaining games this season, no him actually being the full time manager?

Yeah he's clearly gone IMO. Too many journos been briefed.

He is still the manager but it probably looks like the club will be working on the details.
