Community Shield 2022: Liverpool v Manchester City 5pm BST 30 July

To be fair to De Bruyne, Haaland has to make an effort, the guy was miles offside and didn't even try to move to get himself back on side or stretch the Liverpool back four. Shocking stuff

I agree it was a poor run but I don't think the reaction is helpful , I it has a negative effect on the team dynamic.

Strikes me that Pep is probably going to use Alvarez ala Gabriel Jesus. In other words playing a natural center forward out wide.

Pep already contemplating subbing him am sure, Foden would be contributing a lot more.
I wanted to see Raiola-Haaland v Pep this season:(
Would of been fun to watch.

City have ignored so many good runs by Haaland

Hilarious the way the commentators are referring to the England national team players as the 'Lions' and 'Lionesses'.

I feel like Liverpool have City's number in one-off games but over a season City'll still prove to be stronger. Haaland needs to wake up though.

I’m worried they do already. Haaland will be super awkward to integrate and Sterling will be a big loss. I also think Zinchenko has been a really useful player for them. So weird to let important squad players sign for rivals.
Halaand will atleast bulldoze the weaker teams. Sterling and Sane a couple of years back are strange sells as they both offer the explosiveness which is lacking in city's forward line otherwise.

Very off-day for City today. Haaland will be fine. His team mates have to use their brains and be a bit more direct at times.

Haaland needs to work on his right foot.
