Community Shield 2022: Liverpool v Manchester City 5pm BST 30 July

City have lost pace out wide now that Sterling isn’t there.

Alvarez has looked more impressive in 20 minutes than Haaland has in 75.
I wouldn’t be judging Haaland much today

He is far too good not be a huge success over the season. He is about as sure a bet as you can get

There’s a lot of wanking over Alvarez by the commentators here when Foden has made far more of a difference for me.

Individually he'll be fine and not a flop by any means. But I don't think he's going to mesh into their system as much as has been (in my opinion lazily) assumed.

Handball or not, that was a terrible header.

What the feck kind of header is that???

As a striker You gotta bury that in the back of the net.

Nunez just doesn't look anything special to me.
Thought he was poor against us too.
Agree with this. He was decent against Ajax and PSV last season, but nothing special. No idea how these Portuguese clubs manage to get these ridiculous sums for their players.

header was going miles wide  amazing how luck can be changed like that. if he keeps his arm down it’s a horror miss

It's a penalty but that header from Nunez was dreadful!

That Nunez is an absolute dud. His header was so bad he gets a penalty. Unbelievable
