Community Shield 2022: Liverpool v Manchester City 5pm BST 30 July

Exactly why I didn't think he's the best suit for them, they wouldn't go direct and that's his forth.
He'll score goals though, but I see Pep subbing him off when he's seeking more control in game.
I've been saying that for a while.

The idea of a putting a poacher into a highly creative team and they become more unstoppable is 2+2=5.

City getting there. But liverpool will score in one counter in my opinion.

Yeah, looks like City haven't quite worked out how to play with Haaland yet. No doubt, it will unfortunately come.

I feel like City are still adjusting to learn on how to play with a target man. They look as though they want to try to force it too the big man up top instead of letting the chances happen naturally.
Pep has always done better with technical false 9s. An out an out striker leaves them 1 down in midfield compared to previous years, their chance creation in going to suffer as a result unless De Bruyne goes crazy.

I agree… definitely not the best fit. He’ll score goals no doubt but if players spot him quick enough then he’ll get a lot more.
Haaland is a bigger, stronger Vardy, should have gone to a side that will play to his strengths.

Early days but Haaland looks as bad as Sancho did last season.

Grealish and Haaland just aren't typical Pep players

Grealish won’t be a City player next season, can see him being their scapegoat this year.

Foden will replace Grealish in their starting line-up.
