"Showed his intentions" feels me with absolute dread, an owner leaving doesn't suddenly attend a game, force staff to remove anti-glazers items and combine that with the manager who stated he "Showed his intentions" does not leave a lot of room for hope.

Its all a "negotiating tactic" ;)

I thought the same thing, when I saw him at the game today. i fear that Gary Neville is spot on, when he thinks that Glazers want to stay and the club will not be sold.

He smiling so hard because a successful, trophy winning United, only adds to the strength of their selling position.

We can only hope ‘Showed his intentions’ means he walked in and dived into a giant pile of cash like Scrooge McDuck

ETH was hardly going to say anything negative though.

To be completely fair ETH is hardly going to say "Glazers out"

They are his bosses. He has to play both sides, and if they end up staying he will want to be in their good books. While I am very worried about the possibility of them staying on, what ETH said is neither here nor there

Every silver lining has a dark cloud hovering around behind it. Wish I didn’t have to see the parasite at the game.

The sale will be done in full. It’s just not going to happen overnight. Negotiation and the deal itself takes time. So this might have been the last time we see them at a game.

There you go, now all these people thinking they will stay, calm down

Do people seriously think that the club will be bought overnight?
Even if they agree on a price, it will take months to iron everything out.

I wonder if the success of this season has maybe changed the Glazers thinking?

If we were floundering midtable like Liverpool or Chelsea then I feel they'd be desperate to sell but because we are doing so well now, they might feel that they can hang on to the club for a bit longer?

My gut feeling is that no deal will be done anytime soon.

What does your gut say on how the Glazers plan to run the club, with the current level of debt, lack of cash and the need of investment?

It's not and never has been about the success on the pitch, it's about the investment needed off it.

Its amazing to me that people think someone who wants 6 billion for his team isnt going to use tactics like putting the word out he wants to stay. Avram Glazer's goal is to sell this club for the maximum price. He's going to correct way about it.

What a cnut, soak up all the limelight speaking of being emotionally tied to the club, then going back straight after the game

Out of interest what do you think he should have done instead?

Didn’t everyone go home after the match?

I can’t stand them but save your energy for better arguments.

The thing is, Joel and Avram never wanted to leave, this isn't a new storyline, it's something they have been looking for for years.

The quotes a few days ago said Raine group didn't want any bidders using PR as it discredits the Glazers which is understandable.
True but it wouldn't stop Jassim from being pictured in another United top or something. I dunno, its easy to leak stuff and pay the Mail to write puff pieces, without annoying Raine surely.

i really hope you are right, he just came to say his goodbyes is a positive way to look at his visit.

But what exactly does that achieve? Except for satisfying fans cravings for takeover news?
