Qatar ready to walk away?
Not surprising. Glazers taking the full Mickey…
Not surprising. Glazers taking the full Mickey…
This is worse than the transfer Saga's we have...
The bids are in, they want to bleed the Qataris dry, surely there has to be an end date to this?
We cant keep having improved bids every 4/5 weeks. Other clubs are ahead with their transfers and we will be left to pick up what is left at high prices.. nothing new there.
I can see us going into Pre season with the ownership not sorted, which would mean another wasted season.
Its business. They dont care how anyone thinks they're dealing with it, as long as they get the deal they want.Even if true......what kind of process are Raine/Glazers running here.....
It really is appaling the way they are dealing with this....
I cannot for the life of me think that a decision on this has all not been made some time ago - otherwise what has everyone been doing all this time?
Sounds like its the take it or leave it stage....... my fear is that the Glazers will stupidly leave it.

The latest Qatar bid is their end game and makes clear that they won’t be going in again with anymore bids. It should hopefully bring things to a conclusion now.
This is never going to end
£5.21b?6.5 bil... jesus just take it man. Ya greedy cnuts. That's overpriced.
Which take-it-or-leave-it offer is this? Second or third? Or has Jassim decided to actually take this seriously? Whatever the case, unless he has finally offered more money than INEOS, i doubt the Glazers particularly care.
Now that I think about it, this might be Qatari damage control. Once INEOS is announced, they could say they didn't receive a reply, despite their improved offer, and save face in some manner.
I think INEOS is imminent. At least there's finally some movement.
Ratcliffe and his petrochemicals firm, Ineos, have emerged as clear favourites to complete a deal with the club’s owners, the Glazer family, and have entered the final stages of negotiations with Raine, the New York bank handling the sale.
Oh dear, catch up.Yeeees, of course it has.
Anther £20 and a carton of knock of cigars.
Ratcliffes method is the much more standard method of buying a business where you agree to a rough terms of a deal and then make minor adjustments in later negotiations. Qatar's method of just bigger offers is more of a joke - if you wanted it for that price, make it during the normal bidding phases, not adding 2 fecking offers after the bidding phases were done with. These 2 were both desperation offers from Qatar and it's a bit of a joke because they realized they weren't bidding high enough to start with or didn't realize the Glazers were serious about their price, or that Ratcliffe was more competitive from the start. If the reports are to be believed. I prefer Jassim's approach to this. He just put in improved bids. So straight forward compared to Jimmy's method of twisting and turning, this addon, that addon... as if he doesnt even want to spend so much money to begin with....
