Bored? Do you think City fans are bored? What utter nonsense.

Yeh. They've got one of the least passionate fanbases around, can often not even be arsed to show up and support their team even in some huge games that just a few years ago would have been beyond their wildest dreams.

So yeh, I get the impression they're a bit bored. Hollowness often has that effect.

I will accept this only if The Glazers are permanently vanquished. No keeping their stocks In any capacity.

Anything that keeps the Glazers at the club in any capacity is a shit deal. For a self confessed fan, how can Jimmy boy think that’s a good idea and not for one second think that he is going to get a lot of heat because of that decision?
How many times does it need to be explained in here that they aren't being kept on in any way? They retain a small equity stake with zero control. For all intents and purposes, they're fecking off.

Lads, why are you all being so critical of Sheikh Jassim’s ‘low’ bid? How many private individuals could go up against the might of a multinational chemical company?

Give me some broccolis and no chemical company stands a chance.

So our "savior"Jassim can't even outbid Brexit Jim but he was gonna out muscle Man City and the Saudis?

Somethings not adding up.

People need to realise Qatar have committed about 6.5B -7B to the club with their bid and plans

Nobody on the planet is or will ever offer anywhere near that including Jim with his 69% bid on borrowed money

The main point is Ratcliffe offered to KEEP the Glazers in board (They still have their share) so that he could win the bid against Qatar. If INEOS wins, it means the Glazers remain (And this time, impossible to remove).
The INEOS bid is for either 69% of the club, or 50%+1 of the club (with two of Glazer siblings remaining as minority shareholders).

In any case, according to the latest report the INEOS bid values the club higher than the Qatari bid (which is technically a higher bid). Whether that report is accurate or not is another thing.

You’d take relegation rather than have Joel and Avram keep a minority 20% stake which gives them zero say in the running of the club and will be sold later down the line? Sweet Jesus.
You know its not about the Glazers in that scenario, its about not getting the infinite money glitch.

Qatar > INEOS > status quo

We should all celebrate the Glazers leaving (and yes, a 20% equity stake with zero control is effectively the same as them fecking off). My concern is that Qatar will be free to go and purchase another club in the league instead.
Understand Liverpool is their back up option

But are they getting more or less from the Jassim bid? These reports aren't clear to me.
i think basically its Jim giving the Glazers themselves more money. Jassim will wipe the debt and pay for a new club, which the Glazers dont care about

I want to see his vision/commitment for the club.

At this moment in time it feels like the worst possible outcome. He needs to come forward and reassure fans of his plans on both the stadium situation, commitment to transfers and debt accumulated with this bid

Did anybody see his plans for Chelsea when he bid?
He'd be the bravest man alive in Manchester if he dared to come forward now. Who would believe in the words of a traitor to the club, who claimed to be a United fan yet would let the Glazers stay at our club? What happened to all the promises of rescuing us from the parasites?

Nobody has a clue what they’ve committed. Their PR lads were saying they’d bid over 5bn yesterday which was bullshit.

Well the same sources saying Jim is leading the race was saying the same about the Qatar bid

It’s been reported since the start that all debts will be wiped and money for the stadium is available by pretty much every single source

FFS so the Glazers stay.. The question is, how much worse is this for us now compared to only Glazers?

People aren’t just worried about the Glazers staying on even if it’s in a very limited capacity. The real concern is the fact Brexit Jim and INEOS have shown feck all with their current clubs that they’ve got what it takes to run Utd in a competent and successful manner. Now before people chime in with ‘They won’t run Utd the same as Nice or Lausanne’ that maybe the case and let’s all pray it is but we can only go off current evidence and their first two ventures into football leave a lot to be desired.
He's going to move us to Monaco.

I think after this failure, Jassim may find himself being committed to 20 years hard labour.

It was also reported that Jassim would blow Ratcliffe “out of the water” with his bid. But that didn’t happen. Stick to the reality not PR.

Let’s be honest people.

This isn’t over yet. If there is anyone that is world class at dodgy under the table deals it’s Qatar..

Ratcliffe might mysteriously go missing soon. He probably shouldn’t visit any embassies in the near future.

People like you seem clueless

They have committed to not only a 5B bid but to also spend money of the stadium and to clear the debts so whilst those 2 numbers aren’t known we can get a figure of around 2B easily so that’s a 7B commitment

Meanwhile ‘Sir Dickface’ can’t afford the club so is offering to buy 69% on borrowed money keeping the American leaches involved with the club and making no commitments what so ever

To say the Qatari’s aren’t paying up is fecking nonsense they’ll commit more to this club with that bid than Jim will in about 10 years
No, people like you seem to be clueless.

Qatar can promise whatever it wants, and of course a 100% ownership coupled with major investment in the club and the local area sounds fantastic, and is something every United fans want, but it’s not what the Glazers want is it?

You’re clueless because you seem to think the Glazers give a shit about anything Qatar wants to do with United if they buy them. They own United - like it or not - and their interest is getting the best price possible for their shares but you seem to think out of the goodness of their hearts they should do whats best for United and accept what is - on paper - a worse offer for them but a better offer for United

In what world did you ever think that Qatar would and should win the bid just because it’s better for United? If SJR wins the bid its because he’s tried to get the best possible deal he can for United whilst keeping the Glazers sweet. The Qatar bid seems to have just underdelivered at every stage despite promises of big bids and unlimited wealth, as I said in a previous post, considering their huge financial clout if they don’t win the bid it’s entirely their fault.

So no, saying the Qataris aren't paying up isn’t “fecking nonsense” they are willing to pay up to the community and the club but they aren’t willing to put up the cash to convince the Glazers to choose them over SJR so how about pay more if you really want it or shut up because the Glazers don’t give two shits about the money being invested after they are gone, which means nothing to them.

And? It’s been reported by the same people who said they bid over 5bn yesterday. Which they were told by the London PR firm representing the Sheikh. It was bullshit. The initial Keegan article said they were willing to pay whatever it took to get the club - again more PR bullshit.

They are definitely going to buy another team. Probably Liverpool
aka, Liverpool..
Understand Liverpool is their back up option
That's the fear...

Liverpool has a lot of the same issues that we have, though (facilities requiring significant investment). So I could see a similar situation where a debt financed bid for FSG to feck off beats a bid for full control + promised capital investment.

Dodgy dealings and disappearances Saudi-style.

Yeah...Matt Busby would approve of this alright.

Qatars bid has though that’s the point

Like it’s been said a million times they’ve committed 7B to the club whilst Jim is buying 69% on borrowed money

The money Qatar have offered Jim won’t get anywhere near paying in probably 10 years at the club
