I’m ignoring the really disgusting posts, they speak for themselves and will be dealt with by mods. They never last long on here
Fair enough

How so more debt to the club?
It won't be coming from United's budget like it currently is, it will be debt serviced and put up by INEOs, nothing to do with the club.
INEOs will be buying out the Glazers shares, that was the original plan, the only way I can see the Glazers staying is if INEOs/SJR allows the Glazers to have shares either as a minority stake or they can buy back a percentage as an investment.
Quite why people would riot over this option is anyone's guess!?
INEOS bid might value the club more, but that’s because it’s not offering to buy the entire club.
Jassim bid is for the entire club.
So it’s like me offering you £1m to buy your house and someone else offering you £550k for 50%
Even if they’re out on the board which isn’t guaranteed if they have no controlling say it doesn’t matter. It’s ceremonial. And it isn’t now or never. If they stay on with the minority stake it’ll be so they get to freeload their way to earning more money in the future by selling after INEOS have pumped money in and their stake is worth more. The club needs the Glazers to be wiped clean from board completely. Now or never. If this INEOS deal goes through, we will never be free from the Glazers. 18 years at our club and what do they have to show?
They are definitely going to buy another team. Probably LiverpoolQatar > INEOS > status quo
We should all celebrate the Glazers leaving (and yes, a 20% equity stake with zero control is effectively the same as them fecking off). My concern is that Qatar will be free to go and purchase another club in the league instead.
The way I see it is if INEOS are servicing a debt it will United who ultimately pay for it because less finances will be released
They won’t even pay in full for the club I highly doubt INEOS is taking on a reported 900m of debt for a laugh
RATcliffe and his fanboys can all feck off. This is by far the worse outcome for the club.

INEOs have been running working debt for years and years, as I've already mentioned previously they cleared out a tonne of debt in order to finance a large acquisition a few years ago.The way I see it is if INEOS are servicing a debt it will United who ultimately pay for it because less finances will be released

. That's because he's not buying up the two Glazer bros.
The main point is Ratcliffe offered to KEEP the Glazers in board (They still have their share) so that he could win the bid against Qatar. If INEOS wins, it means the Glazers remain (And this time, impossible to remove).Seriously both pro Qatar or Pro Ineos camps need to chill out ,as long as Glazers are out take the win .
aka, Liverpool..Qatar > INEOS > status quo

The main benefit is that INEOS, as a larger, less risky entity, would be able to borrow at lower interest rates than United.Massive corporation don't take debt on for a laugh you're right... They take it on for numerous benefits one of them being tax relief.
Qatar also promised it was a private bid, they didn't even match the offer made by INEOS to buy the club so I'm not sure why I'd take their promises about their plans to invest that seriously. The reason United haven't been successful over the last decade is because they've been incompetent, if you spend fortunes on rubbish like Maguire and appoint Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as your manager then you deserve to win dick, there's no indication that INEOS are particularly competent but then there hasn't been a ton of evidence that the Qataris are either. INEOS taking over doesn't mean that the club can't be successful, they will just have to be smart and actually earn it.
If I'm not mistaken it's because he is only buying Glazer shares including JoAM. Also iirc it was mentioned that his offer included payment in kind which could be shares given to the brothers.
I see it this way, Qatar would've been a mental cheating code and fans would've got bored. With SJ, we'll get investment and stadium renovations. With the right structure in place we can rule Manchester. Again.
Once again, welcome Sir Jim of Failsworth and Moston.
feck off, dickhead.Hopefully SJR at age 70 will soon kick the bucket.

The Sheikh's a real united fan then. They are definitely going to buy another team. Probably Liverpool
Id definitely take their promises over the rest. I don’t think you truly realise the gravity of this situation. It’s not just about players, it’s the entire organisation, the stadium, facilities etc. There is an option here to secure the long term future of the club without any fecking debt. This other option is not good mate, there is no positive light. It’s an awful situation.
Sort of, they can't even fill out Wembley.Bored? Do you think City fans are bored? What utter nonsense.
It's the plucky Brit mindset applied to supporting United. The mind boggles.Bored? Do you think City fans are bored? What utter nonsense.
I don't think anyone ever believed that was anything other than PRThe Sheikh's a real united fan then.
People should calm down ffs - the Glazers haven't even accepted the bid, yet many are acting like it's a done deal.
Why would the other siblings agree to that?

Ah yes, because Qatari promises are iron clad...
Just like the 2022 summer world cup. Promises...
Not at all.
Status Quo is the worst outcome.

You missed the word “summer” in that post.Best World Cup I can remember. What are you on about?
