Some people on this thread are going to spontaneously combust after reading that.

I can’t believe this shit

He better outline his plan because right this second it feels like the club is absolutely fecked

Terrifying

It's says the valuation is higher, not the bid, so does that mean he's bid for a lesser percentage of the club as previous reports have suggested?

Some of the comments here are quite frankly hilarious.

No investment under INEOs supposedly, debt Laden upon the club apparently from INEOs,

Wish some of these soothsayers would give me the lottery numbers for tonight   :wenger:

Yeah, Ineos are going to buy the club.

Its over. Utd are done as a force in football. Newcastle and City will dominate for decades now.

The Glazers are staying on and we know he can’t afford 100% of the club and will be buying on debt

But yeah nothing to see here ffs

Quality control
Hopefully SJR at age 70 will soon kick the bucket.

I agree with the logic but that's not the reason we have underperformed. If we took Brightons approach and tweaked for a combination of gems and established talent (because we can), we would get much more quality through the door.

Same goes for their appointments in managers. We have been chopping and changing philosophy because of a lack of direction and also non footballing factors impacting transfers.

I didn't make a point about why we underperformed. I made a point about how it is senseless to suggest that it's as easy to maximize your resources for Brighton then it is for United. It's easier to follow a successful approach when the floor for success is fairly low and when the ways to make it work are multiple due to the fact that a significantly larger amount of players can allow you to reach that level.

Again to make the point even more obvious, you talk about an approach involving gems and established talents? Surely you realize that those potential gems largely come from clubs like Brighton or weaker and that these players largely don't work at a higher level while established talents are established with clubs that have the ability to keep them and those clubs have no intention to let their own established talents go.

A player that looks and play like a gem for a good Brighton is more likely to be a bust for United than a success and it's true for pretty much all teams that are around United level. A Zaha or a Clyne can look like gems for a midtable club and absolute pumpkins for United or Liverpool. We didn't sign players that were underperforming for their previous clubs, we signed gems and established talents but these gems and established talents either failed to reach the next level or the established talents failed to maintain their current level.

Incredible choice of picture

Before everyone panics or worse, start declaring the end of days, these clowns know absolutely nothing.

I mean, panic a little bit, it's quite entertaining but we still know nothing of any real value.
Could it be “these clowns know nothing” it Qatar was in pole position? I think not and everyone would be jumping for joy

Ahhh Human Psychology is a wondeful thing.

We can’t manage the current debt, where’s this new extra debt going to get managed?
I think we're managing the current debt relatively well considering out spending the past decade. The main issue was that the debt never went into anything that benefits the club, like a new stadium or even into buying players. Being debt free will allow us to operate just fine in the long term if we want to take on new debt for the stadium.

All that Qatari PR seems like complete lies at this point (always did) but people still seem to cling onto them being better owners for some reason.

The Glazers might be staying, they also might not, no one knows, and if they do it will be a minority holder with minimal input.

INEOs will potentially be buying through debt, but not debt on the club, it will be on INEOs, so yeah, nothing to see there.
