Agree just looks like Mike taking advantage of the negativity. That's not happening and unless I've missed something, the tweet was from a week or so again.

Oh the drama. Some fans recall us being relegated and 26 years without a title. United will always be a top club, regardless of league position. The current issues are all just temporary, there will be a turn around, we have good people in place making changes.
Cook’s gone now too.
The only reason they are sticking around is they see the club increasing value in the future. Looks quite grim at the moment.I think the Glazers will see that Ratcliffe has brought the club to 13th in the league and may just sell the club before the value decreases. They could sell it to Qatar, and as per Mike Keegan’s post today, Sheikh Jassim still wants to buy the club - he is actually regretting not bidding a little bit more.
It is a space to watch. Below is some insight on how this could happen, and is very clever from the Glazers.
The Glazers have the right to sell their shares in Manchester United and force Sir Jim Ratcliffe's Trawlers Ltd to sell its shares to a new buyer 18 months after the deal was completed in February 2024:
The deal includes other clauses, such as:
- 12-month period
The Glazers are not allowed to encourage new offers for the club for the first 12 months after the deal.
- 18-month period
The Glazers can sell the club to a new bidder, but Ratcliffe can match the bid or sell his stake for the same price.
- Ratcliffe has the right of first refusal on any shares the Glazers sell in the future.
- Ratcliffe will gain complete control of football operations.
- Ratcliffe will pledge an additional $300 million to invest in Old Trafford and infrastructure needs.
Think it's a result of negativity around Ineos.
'Ineos not doing so well so let's put out a(nother) pro-Qatar article'
Doubt there's a kernel of truth involved but you never know....
5/10. Good effort, but you would have got more of a reaction if you had waited until Boxing Day.Still baffles me the Glazers out fanboys on here, blaming them for everything from the the leaking roof to Rashfords partying. Under the Glazers we have a higher net send in the last ten years than any other club !
The fact that their asset was built and bought on debt is irrelevant, they’ve never shied away from spending money. The fact is the football side hasn’t been right and as INEOS are finding out it ain’t easy.
And don’t make me laugh about “tough decisions” Sir Jim is making. The stupid prick allowed ETH to spend £200m on dross, gave him a new deal then sacked him 6 months later, doing the same with Ashworth and paying release fees to hire Amorim ! This all cost about £30m, so that’s £230m spunked, but yeah he’s booted out SAF and sacked a load of office staff and canned Christmas parties and £100 bonuses, he’s such a genius . . .
Cook’s gone now too.
Do we have any young promising sous chefs in the wings who can be given a chance?
Antony might have more success if we reposition him into the kitchen. Chicken wings instead of on the wings.
They’ve only been at it 6 months! Let them work.Hope to high heck Qatar don't take us over, but Ineos have hardly set our world alight.
Cook’s gone now too.

When you say the club is done as such, that means it’s never going to happen. A huge club with a massive fan base can always turn it around, a decade is feck all but a fleeting moment, eventually the club will or maybe already even has competent people in place. Giving them July, August, September, October, November and most of December to turn it all around it just ridiculous and overly dramatic.I wasn’t talking about having a rich history but competing with the best in the world.
We are nowhere near that and haven’t been for the past 13 years.
Football has changed as well with the money and the well oiled machines the competent clubs are. It’s not an easy process to jump from being an on and off top four side to competing for the CL and the PL.
Obviously, but as you know they have been in cycling and sailing longer, Sir Daves's background is cycling and he has tried bringing in his knowledge, especially from a nutritionist's point of view, he tried weighing all the player's food out for the day but that didn't work when you have players that go home and order an uber eatsMaybe not but money talks. THE SEC filings are there to see and the Chelsea bid is clear to see as well.
They were only looking to put BILLIONS on the line for football clubs, not sailing and cycling teams.
6 monthsI expect Ineos' tenure will be short if we don't show drastic improvement over the next couple of years. The only reason the Glazers haven't done a full sale is because they've gambled on Ineos increasing the club's value by sorting out the football side of the club. Instead things have gotten worse and the value will decrease at this rate.
