Wondering if the display on Saturday has speeded up our pursuit of some key positions?
It's a must we have people in for the new season.

Yeah more of a change in job title to reflect his actual role I suppose.Fletcher had nothing to do with being a ‘technical director’, despite his title.
Most of his work is with the youth teams and being a conduit into the first team. He shouldn’t be affected by this appointment.
Would rather delay a year so the new ownership can show they aren’t taking these tiny clubs’ shit anymoreGive it another year and these guys might finally start working at United.
Well, these positions were either vacant, non existent, or held by clueless bank managers so it cant possibly not pay offSigning other clubs' directors instead of their players is a bold strategy, but let's see if it pays off for us.
Agree with him here for once
All this notice period stuff at a director level is a nonsense really. Get it out the game.
No it doesn’t. Let people work where they want. Life and especially football ain’t that serious. That's exactly the level it makes sense to have it at!

They can sign a contract or not sign a contract, it's up to them whether they want to or not. Whatever Wilcox has signed, that's what he will be held to, and rightly so, it was his choice. No it doesn’t. Let people work where they want. Life and especially football ain’t that serious.

If you signed something in a vague belief that it didn't really matter that would be a shade dumb I think. I'm no expert so I would read every thing very carefully first and seek advice over anything I wasn't sure about personally.Certain terms in contracts aren't legally binding if they impinge on certain rights. Don't know about this situation tbh, but the general argument that whatever he signed should be held to doesn't hold up in all cases. I could sign a 60 hour work week contract for example, but it doesn't mean I'd have to or should have to do more than 40 hours. Would this gardening leave stuff hold up in court?
Someone who only has 600 odd followers and has paid for a blue tickWho’s Darragh Moloney? Someone to listen to or another Twitter no one?
Outside of Berrada our other two appointments involve some form of compensation dispute
In senior roles in business (not just football) 12 months is quite common. Normally it’s a point you can’t negotiate much if you want the top jobs. Not very clever to have a 12 month period. If you doing great in your job and knowing Southampton is only a stepping, why would you put in a 12 month period? I would never accept a 12 month period. There are so many unknown like your boss sucks or the culture is bad. 3-6 months would be good enough.
feck it, might as well, who else is there?Going for McKenna now would be nuts. Too much of a punt there's a hell of a difference between Championship and PL.
