Why is it a problem for the FA when it's the PL involved? This is the problem that The FA face. Lot of people are not taking this league seriously anymore. At least not until this is finished. ManCity won treble last year but people just shurgged their shoulder. Instead of giving them tons of credit, there isn't. It is just indifference. It just feels wrong. It just feels artificial. Not giving any decision just puts more and more people off.
Talking about "The case will resolve itself" is just not professional. Why don't we get any transparency.
How many EPL are there? How many of the EPL directors do we expect to be working for UAE in 5 years?
My misstake. I've should said Premier League. Thanks for pointing it out.Why is it a problem for the FA when it's the PL involved?
I actually don't have anything against if they win 4 in row. If they are good, they are good. Right now, I feel indifferent about their titles after all those charges. Before they were brought up I could say, well done. They had a plan and did great work getting their team to the top. But now? It just took away all that and until some verdict it is going to be indifference if they win.Agree.
I just hope after all the waiting/delay they get properly punished.
4 league titles in a row shouldn't happen in the supposed best and most competitive league in the world.
They are going to get hammered. You read it here. Probably before the start of next season. Nothing 115 ‘win’ has meaning in the slightest.
Near future.
So twelfth of never then. Bloody PL.

Is it a haiku? It’s less puzzling than this post of 6 random sentences.

City winning means no one won.
Their titles will be vacated anyways.
On the charges.
it is puzzling why it is taking so long.
They can have a million lawyers.
Any Operating Statement can be easily verified.
I know lot of people around that have lost interest because of that and VAR. Also how football has developed. I guess there are others to. It isn’t something strange.Sorry, who are these people that are not taking the league seriously? Clubs? Players and coaches? Sponsors? TV media? Fans of Liverpool, Arsenal and United?
For the guys that say "their titles don't mean anything or is hollow or nobody cares". Do you guys think that professional footballers, coaches feel the same way.
Trent did say that their titles mean more to them than City's and mentioned finances as possibly why. But I don't really get that feeling from other footballers and coaches who always heap praises on them.
City have won the best club of the year two years running presented by UEFA, a body that charged you for irregularities still recognised you as the best in world knowing fully well the cheating is what got them there.
I don't know but given how much it is repeated on the internet. Do you guys even believe it when you say it or it's copium
Isn't it already the Etihad FA Cup?They’ll announce the ruling at the same time as a new Premier League <> Etihad sponsorship deal
Emirates?Isn't it already the Etihad FA Cup?
Probably? They are literally publicly on their payroll.I don't think the English FA has the balls to do anything to them. Also, the referees are probably in their pockets as well.
So apparently we’re close to a conclusion…and yet there’s barely any media coverage.
you can almost guarantee if it was us…or Liverpool, or anyone else for that matter it would at least make some of the football news pages

That’s never stopped media before. Christ they go on and on about transfers and deal progression months in advance.I don't think it's close to a conclusion. He just vaguely said a hearing will be sometime in the near future. It will still take some time after the hearing to render a judgment. I'm not sure what exactly people want the media to be covering. There's been no material information about this situation released for like a year and this vague update about a hearing in the "near future" is already all over the news.

i just think it’s kind of a big deal so we’d expect more journos to at least cover it. More so after a vague update when often stories are just fabricated.
I’d agree with an earlier poster who suggested lawyers are shutting stories down. That can be the only explanation
As has also been pointed out on this page, which you'll conveniently ignore, organic growth is absolutely possible.

Only way is a transfer and salary cap

The extrapolation for City, which is often missed in counterpoints is that: no matter what the rules are, they have and will actively break them, so it doesn’t matter what implementation there is; it’s going to be circumvented anyway. It is possible but you'll probably win nowt
Only way is a transfer and salary cap which I don't think any of the old g14 clubs would ever be in favour of, the Champions League expansion has distorted every major League in Europe, it's all fecking shit and there is no way of bolting that door now, no matter how many charges city are guilty of (which will be most) there is no way of leveling the playing field and that started with the G14's greed, as soon as money becomes involved in sporting events you can guarantee people will look to exploit that, we're basically Frankenstein's monster created by the g14 clubs greed who wanted a close shop
Anyone else finished with football if they don't get a proper punishment? Feel like it's all a bit pointless if they get away with it.
You would think that clubs individually won't stand for a soft punishment so this is a possibility.I’d quite welcome a breakaway league. Not the Super League, though.
Still think they'll be relegated but come back up straight away Juve style. Probably with--3 points for each proven charge or just being moved to 20th. No idea what they'd do with historical results.
They might need the FA cup to be in Europe, in the championship... Could also mean 2nd is enough this year and 3rd bottom.

I would imagine the record would remain untouched as Juve’s are. I would love a song from every terrace to remind them in perpetuity they are cheats, akin to the “dirty Leeds’” everyone knows, old or young.
Huh, didn't Juventus get stripped of several titles?
