City and Financial Doping | Charged by PL with 130 FFP breaches | Hearing begins 16th Sep 2024 | Concluded 9th Dec 2024 - Awaiting outcome

Pep made such a money focused choice going there, you’d have to be the biggest of mugs to believe he had no idea.
City fans still think he’s manager of their club because it was factors other than the fact he’s getting some serious back handers. The only reason he’s been there that long is money.

Ty is rubbing his hands together somewhere sipping from his Arsenal bottle, wearing Arsenal beanie with Arsenal headphones on, in Arsenal full kit with Arsenal underwear underneath.

Surely the party charging them have a standard timeline with which to bring the result of the charge whether it's points deduction or fines etc?

Does anybody know?

The PL as a brand must come down hard on City if they are found quilty...Juve were stripped of titles and relegated after their Calciopoli scandal. What effects will it have on the PL if they do not go hard in on City? Apart from City then Chelsea must be looked at as they gatherd £1.6 billion in operating losses under Abramahovic tenure. The PL has become the true super league and they can not sweep this under the rug.

Lubing up his cannon as we speak.

They need to give a severe enough punishment to deter Newcastle and then also they'd follow up with Chelsea I bet

It is alleged "Roberto Mancini (ex coach of ManCity) received a “significant portion” of compensation from a “fictitious consultancy contract” when he left the club in 2013."

No doubt Pep also received a huge compensation similar to Mancini, probably on top of this £20m salary. No wonder he didnt want to leave City. "So so happy" Yes we all know why P£P.

If it goes from 2009-2022.

2009/10 - Chelsea
2010/11 - Manchester Utd
2011/12 - Manchester City Manchester Utd
2012/13 - Manchester Utd
2013/14 - Manchester City Liverpool
2014/15 - Chelsea
2015/16 - Leicester
2016/17 - Chelsea
2017/18 - Manchester City Manchester Utd
2018/19 - Manchester City Liverpool
2019/20 - Liverpool
2020/21 - Manchester City Manchester Utd
2021/22 - Manchester City Liverpool

Amazingly it would only affect Utd and Liverpool and give both 3 titles each.

New standing would be

Manchester United - 23 times
Liverpool - 22 times
Wouldn't ever come to that but surely they would null all games involving City? Might make the tables slightly different rather than just the runners up.

Not that easy though. What about our financial losses what could have been probably the best ever among the clubs? Stripping won't happen. They will get a point deduction for next season.

Weve been here before many many times, we know how this goes down.
The indipendant regulator will be hit , most likely personally by the club, well never know about it but they will almost definitely use underhanded tactics to effect the outcome of all this.

I think well see a hefty fine and maybe one or two window transfer ban and maybe , just maybe a 5 point deduction or something symbolic like that, which is essentially nothing to them.

It will be rigged in a way that will seem like a light punishment but they ultimately get away with it.

I think they should be relegated and stripped of all titles in the period being investigated.
The integrity of the league is compromised.

We haven’t been here before though

This is unprecedented in world football

Exactly, the league know it’ll open up to a lot of clubs potentially suing, so they won’t want the headache. The fecking cowards.

Yep. Another pseudo football romantic. They basically bought his brother a club (Girona) a while ago.

Yeah Chelsea will be panicking now..

Time to start tapping up haaland ready for when they’re relegated

I really don't think the PL lose too much commercial power if City are relegated.

It's not like if Utd or Liverpool or Arsenal went down, City just don't have a lot of fans.

Guardiola is a big name, bigger than City, and so him going may be a blow to them but feck it, he's a cheat.

Mind, the ordinary justice in the ordinary trials that came in the following years acquitted all the people involved of any wrong doing… which is just incredible if you like, and yet that’s often the case so many times in history when you follow the Ok Corral rules to hang a villain at the nearest tree under the rage of the herds. And I do not really think the Emirates will accept such outcome with light heart and all their sportwashing effort to crumble, whatever the herds feel or want.

That’s it and I surely know one things or two … that said, times are definitely coming for a SuperLeague, EuroLeague or some sort of private league a la NBA where to send all the “cheats” :wenger: and let local clubs compete in local leagues under very strict financial caps to favor local competition. It happened a number of times in other sports, it happened in football when the European Cup was binned for the Champions League, it’s happening again undet our eyes these weeks. We will see what happens!

And I thought the tactics were our biggest problems until now.

This sounds extremely serious, way worse than the farcical UEFA case that were just as fraudulent in it's own right as they accused us of being.

Absolute c*nts in our administration if any of this is true, and it takes away most of the joy of the last 15 years
Yes blame UEFA for their case against City. FFS. Its a laughable default for some City fans.

as for taking away the joy from thr last 15 years. Why would you not already know about this as everyone else does? It has been feckin obvious!

Hang on a second, this is the key bit from the PL statement:

"Commissions are independent of the Premier League and member clubs. The members of the Commission will be appointed by the independent Chair of the Premier League Judicial Panel, in accordance with Premier League Rules W.19, W.20 and W.26.

The proceedings before the Commission will, in accordance with Premier League Rule W.82, be confidential and heard in private. Under Premier League Rule W.82.2, the Commission’s final award will be published on the Premier League’s website."

So now it all rests on the verdict of this so called independent commission. Hmmm I have no confidence in this at all now. Abu Dhabi FC will no doubt find a way to get to the commission.
Ah well, as you were folks.

And it was just written off when it should have went on the accounts as a gift (from what I gather) and be taxed to shit on it.
PL needs a good look at them

I for one am shocked.

All those Etihad sponsor deals, their revenue somehow ballooning out of nowhere to overtake us and other European giants in a matter of years?

Yeah right.

It's likely why barely any of their players ever got poached by Madrid or Barca, getting paid a disgusting amount off the books.

Oh just imagine they got relegated and severely financially neutered, it'd be the greatest porno ever watching all their players (who they probably think are loyal to their shite plastic club) jumping ship.
