Christiano Ronaldo - NO current rumors

Good man Mourinho for shutting this down.

Ronaldo was my favourite player of all time until he kept using us to get a better deal so feck Ronaldo and his decline.
I'm also glad we turned this down. I love Ronnie but that ship sailed about two seasons ago when he started using us for a new contract. He could probably still do a job for us but unless we're offloading Zlatan and getting Ronaldo on a free, it just isn't worth it.

feck off Ronaldo. So we are good enough for you now that Madrid want rid of you then?

Madrid are fecked. He has 3.5 years left on his contract and is on massive wages. He certainly isnt getting a new contract.
Bale & ronaldo ridiculous contract is one of the reason why Madrid no longer buying Galactico ... And can't buy our De Gea. Surely we aren't stupid enough to fund them

Just let them all rot together with that cnut Perez

I'd go mental if I had to witness Ronnie on free kick duty after one year long Ibra experience. :wenger:

How has this made it to 14 pages. I love Ronaldo but I'm fed up with him using us to get a new contract every window so when I saw this I just thought meh not this again and ignored it.

But 14 pages for a non story.

I don't think Ronaldo is done yet. Would be stoked if he came back to help us out for a couple of seasons, like Zlatan last year. But not for big money of course.

Imagine a front three of Ronaldo Lukaku and Sanchez.

Marca's headline reads 'The Manchester does not want Cristiano.'

"Mou prevents this image from repeating"

Such a class act these guys, surely is their hated Mourinho the one to blame for United not spending 100M on a 33 y/o player

I would prefer if David Beckham came out of retirement. btw Beckham was forced out of the club, unlike Ronaldo who tried to get move to Madrid soon as they came knocking.

Test his loyalty.
Publicly announce we can only sign him for a certain amount and if he wishes to rejoin us then we are more than happy to do so.
Show him for what he is.

Enough with the complaints. You need to allocate Bale and Cris with PSG while we propose cool swaps with your favorite players

Glad this was shut down quickly.

Ronaldo to find something else to threaten Madrid with instead of using our name every time.

No one forced anyone out

Benzema will be 33.5 at the end of his contract as well. Can't see him aging well.

Edit. Ramos will be 34. Modric nearly 35. Got some aging stars on big contracts.

I wouldn't be shocked if Mourinho through Mendes would be briefing that we don't want them.

I'm not sure he'd even have a say in it given the commodity Ronaldo is. Footballing reasons may not be the priority behind the scenes. Hope I'm wrong.

Dont care what he wants. We arent a retirement home. Leaves just as he his entering his peak, gives his best years to madrid then expects to come back on the decline. No thanks.

I hope for Ronnie sake he just retires in the next 2-3 years. I'd hate to see him do a Romario or Ronaldinho where he hops around between lesser clubs - or even more pathetic, go to the Middle East, MLS, or Asia.

Ok, if no-one else has said it yet...

Where would he play?

personally would mind him leading the line ahead of lukaku. despite all his achievements at Real, I still think he played his best football here. him coming back won't happen, and maybe its for the best. that time has passed

I agree. If they could get what they paid for him back now I think they’d take it. The problem with that is they’ve waited until he’s had his worst season ever to do it, rather than after a good one knowing he was getting older and the bad season would eventually come. No doubt he’d still tear it up, perhaps for 2 years, but who’s going to pay £80M plus his wages for that kind of output for 70 games.
Totally agree. Rather than sell from a decent negotiating position, they're aiming to sell him when he's off form and looking to leave. The only two places that'll pay his wage is MLS and China, and I'm not convinced he wants to go there just yet.

Happy this has been shot down in flames. No doubt he's still a great player, but he's clearly declining and I'm sick of the rumours every bloody year allowing him the leverage to negotiate ridiculous deals.

We're done being your contract threat. End of. Jog on.

No doubt PSG will come crawling, salivating and offering the astronomical amounts, only possible when you're backed by an entire country.

Nah, we're ready to create new legends, we've moved on.

LA Galaxy, Hollywood baby, party time.Don't care where he goes, as long as it is far away from Manchester United.

I doubt its been shot down as its all media BS. We could never afford his wages unless he agreed to restructure, which isn't happening any way if we're getting Alexis, so basically this is all clickbait.

PSG's the perfect place for him. He's a huge star, regardless of whether he is on the decline or not. And he'd piss through that league. He's a massive risk for us. £100 million for a 34 year old when we're are in the middle of building a team could go tits up.

I'd happy bring Cantona back, though.

I mean, has Mourinho enough power in the club by now to be allowed such a decision? I very much doubt it.

He's stuck at Real imo, even if they allow him to leave for free where does he go with his wage demands apart from outside of Europe?
