Di Maria's angel
Captain of Moanchester United
We need to stop suggesting player who haven’t reached their full potential. Our current manager does not like them.
Pogba, Bailly, Lindelof, Lukaku, Dalot and possibly Fred.

Depay was young and exciting, failed. Martial is young and exciting, didn't fail but seems to be on his way. You then have Rashford who is young and exciting but doesn't get to start a good run of games. If it is Woodward pushing Pulisic you just know what Jose will do if he is signed.
Which big matches for Dortmund has he been bringing the house down in?
Pogba, Bailly, Lindelof, Lukaku, Dalot and possibly Fred.
Come on, Mbappe will never play for us. Bale would be fecking awesome, but the rumours seemed to cool down.
So am I, and I DO want this signing badly.
He’s a notch under what Martial was at this time last year, younger of course, and should definitely be ready to step in at a larger club. The way I see it, he’s done as much if not more than Dembele did at the same club, all with inferior supporting cast. Also, we have a hole at RW, so he can feature as long as he shows mettle. He’d be more infusion of core, young attacking talent to grow along Pogba, Lukaku, Lingard, Rashford and Martial (if he stays).
He’s a United fan (for feck’s sakes, we need more Red Devil “blood”) and loves the Premier League. Barring the availability of a world class winger, of which Perisic and Willian are not, and God knows neither Bale and certainly not Mbappe or Neymar will join, Christian Pulisic is just the kind of player we need to add for the present and the future.
Because one has potential to become world class and the other doesn't?
Just give it time; I'm sure journos would love to add 10M each time a new headline comes out.
Point is I have Maguire below those defenders mentioned above; personally, I'd take Marquinhos as my preference of the bunch.
All signs point to Martial leaving the club sooner than later; if he can be used as a makeweight for Pulisic (£15M + Martial) then absolutely pull the trigger.
Let's try another Dortmund player, 3rd time lucky?
He's 19... I think it's okay to cut him some slack. He's got the potential and definitely the attitude to become a great player.
Just swap him for miserable Martial. Please.
If martial really is going then why notJust swap him for miserable Martial. Please.
Again Lukaku and Pogba aren’t young and learning. The others are not first tream.
Is there anything actually linking us to him, bar the one random ITK Twitter guy?
I disagree with your assessment but further discussion on this will derail this thread. Let's just leave it here.Sanchez likes to drift into the middle and play quick passes and penetrate like that, the issue is almost all our players like to come into the no 10 area so it’s easy for our opposition to play compact and shut out all attacks through the middle. We have no threat on the wings so the opposition don’t have to worry about defending wide.
It wouldn’t take Beckham or Ronaldo to help solve this issue, any player who is comfortable hugging the touchline and being denagrous wide and up the pitch will force the opposition to spread wider and hence create space in the middle. It’s a similar situation to Lukaku, when he replaced Ibra we went from a striker who liked to drop deep into the no 10 area (even more congestion) to a striker who was a huge threat in behind and hence our opposition had to back off and couldn’t compress as much. This showed with most of our attacking players - Martial, Rashford, Lingard, Pogba etc all doubling their goals/assists stats from the season before. We scored like 20 more goals in the league even though Lukaku himself scored less goals than Ibra did in the league. It’s that effect we need not necessarily for Willian or whoever to be a dangerous threat
We’ll be lucky to be signing anyone at this point. Never mind specialCould this be the special signing Zlatan referenced?
I was thinking about the number of big deadline day deals we've made the last few years . So have hope .We’ll be lucky to be signing anyone at this point. Never mind special
The thing is, he would be suited for our right side. As it is now, Mata and Lingard are the two who will start there. If last season is any indication, Lingard more often. Pulisic is better than both of those two. Work rate every bit as good as Lingards. Fast. Defends. Eye for goal.Maddening we're not in for him. I mean, I wouldn't realistically expect Jose to sign a player like him (young + big money), but he's a United fan and fits our needs perfectly. Probably one of the only situations where losing Martial would directly benefit us, too.
Why not? Don't you think he could be a good fit in our right wing instead of Mata/Lingard?I’m not sure our system would suit him.
I'll save everyone the time that I unfortunately wasted, the answer is Dortmund.
We won't end up with any right winger another season of Mata running in sand on the wing for us.Could just be that Chelsea end up with Pulisic, the United fan and we end up with Bailey, the Chelsea fan.
