Christian Eriksen | Man Utd player

Welcome Christian. Looking forward to his killer balls.

Plenty to teach the kids as well

I just watched the Tifo video on the transfer. Used to love those guys but now they are just incompetent toxic idiots.

Good signing after a very good return at Brentford. As others have said, this is yet another clear statement of intent from Ten Hag and how he wants this team to develop into a possession-first, dominant football team. I'm most interested to see what role he will play. On paper he could easily be repurposed as a deeper lying player.

Christian Eriksen completed just 74% of his passes last season. You guys are in for a bit of a surprise.
Stats are misleading, you can tell by just watching Eriksen play that his passing is light years better than Bruno’s. If we can get De Jong as well then it will revolutionises how we play.

The Prestbury and Alderley Edge estate agents will be doing cartwheels if we keep signing people at this rate. Hope Eriksen can continue in his good form at O.T. and can play at his normal high standard. Good luck to him.

Good bit of business for free, he'll add bundles of experience in the middle of the park.

Calling out a surprise for everyone now. Eriksen will take Bruno’s place.
They'll play a lot together. Watching McTominay's positions today he was basically an advanced CM, linking up Fred and the attack. Eriksen will be glorious in that role against the low block

United don't have enough technical ability, or ability altogether, in midfield.

I think he'll play both together more often than we think, with Eriksen dropping deeper than he played at Spurs.
Agreed if we don’t sign De Jong. If we sign De Jong I don’t see a place for Bruno in the first 11.

Can't believe we couldn't get him over Brentford. I suppose it was because he was settled there

Bruno, Eriksen and De Jong will rotate to be the 3rd man alongside McFred.

Looking forward to seeing him in United shirt!
As i've said before, he's going to play A LOT, not backup as many thinks, and he's going to be our best player this season, as i called the other day!
Martinez will be.

Was one of my favorite players during Ajax and Tottenham. I thought he had failed at Inter but fair play for coming back to a Top club like ours.

A great technical footballer who works very hard and is tactically excellent also. Whats not to like?

Going to be beautiful not having a huge drop off in creativity in midfield when Bruno's not on the pitch

Then why keep him? He'll be a waste of wages and the longer he sits on the bench the more his market value drops. He could free up space and funds for a midfielder we'd actually use.

Well we shouldn't keep him really but this is United we are talking about

He is amazing. Spine could look like:

RB ---------- Varane ------------ MArtinez -----------LB

----------------Eriksen-----------------Frenkie----------------

---------------------------------Bruno------------------------------

RW---------------------------Ronaldo-----------------------LF

We will win 9-8 scores

On a side note I am absolutely chuffed for him after his health issues at the Euros. He made a smart choice of putting himself back in the shop window at Brentford for 6 months.

We have friendlies against Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano a week before our season starts. I'd expect our new signings to feature in either of those games.
Where’s the atletico game played at? I know we play vallecano at home.

Excellent stats tbf and exactly what we need. I hope he finds his best form under ETH and the less we play McT the better

Nice, but he’s a bit tall for a creative midfielder and will struggle to turn defenders inside out ;-)

Budget cuts? Saving on airfares?
Very long, jetlag inducing trip for a few days for players already familiar with ETH.

I understand why it's not seen as too important. Gives them some time to get acclimated to their new homes/surroundings in their private life as well before getting to work.
