He did forgive Ibragimov about two minutes later though. So I think that's pretty much normal for a hungry striker.
If you are going to make comparisons, at least make the right ones.Have you seen Zhirkzee's record at that level at the same age? At Bayern Munich II, he scored 6 goals in 32 appearances. You cannot teach the instinct for goal scoring and deadly finishing.
You are somewhat lost. I made the comparison because the poster suggested Zhirkzee would score more if he also played at that level as a senior player. Either way, Zhirkzee's record is unimpressive as a senior player, something Chido has not had the opportunity yet to showcase. If you are going to make comparisons, at least make the right ones.
Zirkzee at u17 bayern: about 1600 minutes played over 19 matches, 16 goals en 9 assists.
Year later at the U19: 12 goals en 2 assists in 1034 minutes. Also playing at Bayern II that year scoring 4 goals and giving 4 assists in 678 minutes, helping them with the promotion to the 3th Liga.
So he did impress in his youth years just like Chido will likely do. Youth is very different than professional football.
Looks like he is putting plenty of work into his goal celebrations
When he scored his hat-trick we saw the cupped ears and the knee slide and now we have seen the Ronnie jump.
I am not sure if this is a good thing or not.
Practice on his heading wouldn't hurt and it would give him an advantage over most CFs playing at the moment.Sure he has to do something to keep busy when everyone else is practicing passing.
Probably is a good thing because he's clearly scoring a lot of goalsLooks like he is putting plenty of work into his goal celebrations

It's a team game and it looks a bit stupid running past your teammates and celebrating in front of an imaginary crowdProbably is a good thing because he's clearly scoring a lot of goals
Don’t know if you could read too much into this, but that and his reactions to having a goal “stolen” lately give me a hint of arrogance which is not always bad with footballers and arguably you need some of it, but we’ve been rather bad lately taming the egos of great youth prospects, so I’m a bit worried.Looks like he is putting plenty of work into his goal celebrations

Nonetheless our youth have looked nothing but stellar for a while now, shown by the results, and Chido is easily among the biggest talents in the country. Can’t wait to see more of him and hope Amorim promoted him swiftly
Personally I think that reaction from him was too much for a lad his age. The muted celebrations from him when somebody else scores I don't like either. Throw in leaving Arsenal in the first place and I think this is a young man with a hefty opinion of himself.
The club will have their work cut out keeping him grounded. You can just tell.
Amorims youth player? Each manager after Fergie have all had their 1 player they’ve brought up from the youth.
Yeap. I get that same vibe too.
Remember in the old days when Fergie wouldn't even allow the academy players to have coloured boots?
Different times.
Hard to enforce the rule when u18 games are now televised to an extent and most players already having a sponsorship deal in place when in the u18s, plus many have a big social media following. The same rule still exists in our academy. I believe it used to apply to U18s and younger and now it’s for younger than U18s.

No, that the academy players have to wear black boots.nike can't make black boots anymore?
No, that the academy players have to wear black boots.
Because they have sponsorship deals from such a young age, who will have all the say which boots the players wear.I got that I just don't understand why you think it's hard to enforce

Surprised he didn’t sign with NikeKai Rooney, for example, has a Puma deal but he wears black adidas boots. I don't think they really care at this age.
Did anyone expect him to be on under 10k/week?Sources say Obi-Martin stands to be paid weekly wages into the tens of thousands once he turns 17 at the end of this month and signs a professional contract.
-From the Athletic.
Did anyone expect him to be on under 10k/week?
I feel like Amorim is going to have a lot to choose from in this respect.
Amass, the Fletchers, Mantato, Ogunneye, Thwaites, Ibragimov, McAllister, Williams, Lacey, Scanlon, Lusale, Koné, Obi and Biancheri - I’d be surprised if 2 or 3 of these lads don’t make a mark on the first team.
I personally don’t see the real issue with his hunger for goals at the minute. A well rounded game is preferable of course but I like that he wants to score all the time. It’s not like we’ve not seen him pass to other players in goal scoring positions or that other players don’t take the selfish/wrong option either.
I’m sure if he has attitude issues it’ll be addressed. It’s not like we’ve not taken a firm line with top talents before.
We will be lucky to have more than one that makes it as a full fledged member of the first team. Many talented youth players fail to make the step up to the first team permanently. The step up is huge.
More than 1 of them will make it. Not sure you realize how talented this bunch players coming through currently is.
I did. He's still with the U-18s, not yet proven at U-21sDid anyone expect him to be on under 10k/week?
We have always had an extremely talented team in the academy, but performing at that level is a completely different level to performing in first team football.
Many extremely talented players have failed to make the step up. It will be the same with this bunch.
No, it won't.
