Chicharito Loan Watch | Real Madrid

Herrera has this stupid tradition of giving the line up one day before.

Why does he insist on giving the opposition an advantage? Does he think this will make winning the world cup more challenging?

That's just probably him answering a question whether he likes the label as a super sub, it's not an attack on United for starting him, nor is it saying he wants to leave. Poor journalism again. Also we'd never sell him to Arsenal, Spuds or Soton unless they offered £30m. No way we'd sell him to someone in the PL on the cheap!

Agree....

Made a huge impact after coming for Mexico.. Scored one, and played a key role in the other two goals! Impressive performance, truly a super sub!

No, he didn't. Mexico was all over the Croatia by the time he came on. It was only matter of time before Mexico scores, with or without him on the pitch. What was his key role for Marquez goal? Poor cross hitting the defender 10 meters far from him? I love the guy, but seriously, you give United players sometimes too much credit.

Are you kidding me, his movement was dragging the Croatian defenders all over the place and creating space for Peralta and the others.. He dragged the defenders away from Guardado for his goal, and also his movement for the header was insane.. He saw the flick on coming even as soon as he saw the direction the ball off the corner was taking, just watch the replay.. The defenders at the back post were still ball watching while he was running onto the back post in a flash..

He made the impact, I agree. Changed the game? No chance.

Considering the fact that Mexico went on to score 3 goals, and also it looked like the flood gates were about to open at one point. Hernandez's movement off the ball was the main reason. Peralta had so much more space to run into with Chicharito dragging defenders away

No doubt. Mexico probably wouldn't score 3 goals if it wasn't for Hernandez. But Croatia lost it's shape long before Chicarito came on. Around 60th minute Mexico took over and it was just matter of time before they would score.

 I bet you'd be great fun to watch football with.

I think he will go. While being a good CF he simply is not good enough for United. In a starting role i mean, he is great to have as a sub, but i think he is fed up with being a super-sub, he wants to start games regularly. I am sure he could do it in a team like Valencia or maybe Inter seeing there problems with that position this season, Guarin played some matches as CF for them!:wenger:

Truly stupid if we let him go. Made all the difference coming on today. Great player and a great guy.

I'd keep him over Welbeck myself as I don't see what Welbeck adds that's particularly difficult to get elsewhere. A poachers instinct isn't that easy to come across.

No you don't! You did not even recognise him on the pitch.

Play Welbeck up top then we'd see. He's impressed me more there than Hernandez has.

It is difficult to judge though when one is played on the left wing.

Love watching Chica play. Always moving and just seems to play with a smile. Will be disappointed if he goes, but will understand why he'd want to move currently.

There was a point in his first season when I thought he and Rooney would be our attacking forwards for many years.

I'm a great guy, I'm not good enough, and neither is Hernandez to get what he desires at this club. Him leaving isn't stupid at all. Infact, it makes more sense than practically anything else we will do this Summer. He isn't flexible and he isn't good enough to play regularly here. He'll move elsewhere, and most likely have a good career wherever he ends up, but he's just wasting his time at the moment. Losing his place in the Mexico team will only heighten his desire to leave, too.

I'd sell him for his own good.

Let's be honest, without Europe we have less games this year. For the #9 and #10 roles, we have Van Persie, Rooney and Mata all clearly ahead of him, with Kagawa, Welbeck and Januzaj arguably too. Plus, Wilson is coming through and will need games, and Powell's back from his loan.

For Hernandez own sake it'd make sense for him to leave. Think he'd be a great signing for Atletico if they went in for him.

Actually there were periods before 60th minute mark when Mexico were all over Croatia ( probably 3 or 4 times ) and they couldn't break shit so yea, he's changed the game. Scored one and played huge part in the second goal.

He didn't have anything to do with breaking Croatia. They didn't look any more dangerous after he came on. They completely took the game after Marquez scored and Croatia fell apart. They left Hernandez space to work with, and he did awesome work.

I'd keep him. As soon as we sell him, RVP and Rooney are bound to get injured and Wellbeck can only dream of being as good a finisher as Hernandez.. Maybe it's selfish? I don't give a shit. Ignore the Mexico coach. Mexico will select him again because he's their best forward. Period.

Can't see it best for him that he stays.

As a united fan, I'd rather we keep him, but I can't imagine he'd be happy as a "when we need him", he has too much talent and came at an unfortunate time, if he had the talent in CM, he'd be a nailed starter.

It's time you spend time dealing with your own problem(s) rather than coming on here vehemently spouting rubbish denying little pea's important impact in the game. If you have a hidden agenda then at least just state your "disclaimer" so as not to pretend you really did have a point. Not many on here are agreeing with you so please just stop. lol

Find where I said Hernandez didn't make impact. He did. I'm saying he didn't change the game. Learn to read.

Unless he's happy to be a sub all season and get a few minutes here and there when we need to nick a goal, there' s just no room for him at the club. We'll already struggle to fit in the likes of Rooney and Kagawa next season as it stands.

I totally agree but scoring goals is what the game is about and that kid just has the knack of being in the right place at the right time.. That is just something that cant be tought.

I really really reaaaaallly want him to score against Netherlands, and if it kicks them out of the WC then better, we'd go through and Van Gaal would be impressed. Win-win.
