I highly doubt that. This is the same mourinho who signed ozil and sneijder (albeit sneijder is quite hardworking). I think he will be very good for Chelsea. He will get the two things at chelsea that his two other clubs could not offer him, being a starter which barca could not offer and trophies which arsenal could not offer.

This likely has nothing what so ever to do with Woodward. It's pretty much been made clear van Gaal didn't want Fabregas, if he did then I'm confident it'd be us he'd be signing for. I'm not saying Chelsea aren't doing good business, but people really are overreacting.

Chelsea are certainly going to be a force next season. They would have won the title this season if they weren't so goal-shy. Now they have Cesc and pretty much wrapped up the move for Costa, they are going to be banging them in.

The Shaw transfer has been dragging on for too long and I wouldn't at all be surprised if Chelsea of City sign him anyway.
Plus we are so far off challenging for the league Shaw isn't exactly going to increase of chances too much. We're lacking big time in top players, not prospects from Southampton.

Great signing for them. Though I'm not sure when he fits in without compromising Oscar's game time. Can't see Mou playing Fabregas or Oscar in the more defensive two. I hope we were interested but he wanted to go London. We'll have other targets and so we'll see how the summer pans out but if he was open for a move to us and we turned it down, well I think that may well prove to be a mistake.

Our biggest signing is Van Gaal. Shaw does increases chances he's a world class talent. Obviously we do need more though, but I don't think the fact we haven't got it by June 12th means we don't ''mean business''
