Champions League Semi Finals (9th - 17th May)

These cheating cnuts will probably do back to back trebles just to make a mockery of it. It’s a farce how good their squad is and they’ll strengthen in the summer. Hate them with a passion.

Unfortunately we need the super wealth, structure, facilities and quality of player that they have to compete with them. We wouldn’t need to cheat though!
We just need to be well managed. City have been managed very efficiently for the last decade, yes they’ve had money to spend but they never really spent that lavishly after the initial surge which took them from mediocre to very good. They have gone from very good to great by going about their business extremely well.

We have probably spent more money on transfers since Pep arrived than they have.

Said after the first leg City will streamroll past Madrid at home.

People who make you think the keeper is the reason we will play suddenly a much better passing football are living in cuckoo land.
We need to increase the technical level accross the pitch
Exactly. You can have bloody Pirlo on the ball but it will not help when his distribution is to McT or Bissaka who struggle to even control the ball. Or Maguire who will control it and then wait 10 swcibds to pass it.

Of course they are, their manager was a cheat. They have all those players with fitness problems at their previous clubs and now they can't stop running and pressing all season.
It's all but guaranteed with Pep being there. There was a stat somewhere saying that City are one of the least rotated sides in the prem too...

It's incredible. And yeah, they don't rotate either. That little rat Silva literally runs all fecking game. When everyone else is on their arse, these cnuts are playing as if it's the first game of the season.

You can't tell me these cnuts aren't on the PED's. At the end of the longest season in history, our players dropping like flies, fatigued, and these feckers don't stop running.

Wouldn't all the extensive doping controls catch that? Same way they caught Lance (i.e. never)?

This

But then again, since we spent a bill after Fergie, if we had Pep with that, he'd have got us dominating. Oh well
It is a huge huge difference when 5 managers spend 1,5 billion or when one does it.
Also Pep has luxury to buy a player and if he diesn't work, he just bench him and buy another.

Madrid can pull this back.

They just need to pull their finger out their asses and show their quality on the ball. And stop being dominated physically by City.

I'm sure there was a point in the first half when Madrid on average had less than 2 passes per minute.

Madrid probably need Tchouameni and cavaminga in the middle for some sort of press

You have Rudiger who was great in first game and natural left back Alaba in team. Why not play Alaba on the left and Camavinga in midfield?

Yeah, football is well known for its rigorous drug testing. It's a joke really, considering how big the sport is. Don't get me wrong, it's probably rife all throughout the game, but these cnuts probably do that better than anyone else, too.

The bigger theme that people should be thinking about is how to deal with playing catch-up to Pep tactically.

Pep just ripped up the book when he thought people were catching onto his City side and now all of a sudden his RB/CB becoming DM with floating 8's in half spaces and channels is suddenly the craze. Everyone's playing catchup now. By the time it becomes vogue and half the teams are doing it, you can be sure that Pep will change again.

You've got elite players playing for a manager who is usually a step ahead of everyone else in terms of tactical adaptation. You could take the same squad and if it wasn't Pep managing it, there's every chance we're not talking the same dominance.

United, Inter and Arsenal stopping City from a treble. You couldn't have chosen three more shite 'big' teams. All three, if not already, will get battered by City.

the funny thing is, Haaland wasn't a difference in these matches at all. City are simply younger and faster.

One dodgy penalty and Real are right back in this.

Hard not to think ancelotti got this very wrong. Two geriatrics in midfield is too kuch against this city side

That's bullshit from the ref that. City fans waited to throw the ball back on and it completely relieved the pressure
