Madrid have been underserving Champions too many times in the past few years. They have been utter dog-shite and still managed to get a result. So It's not beyond them yet.

It amazes me how much people believe that nonsense, one of the dumbest things I've heard repeated on here, maybe the dumbest. Like if replacing DDG is going to turn Mctominay and Fred into Bernardo and De Bruyne.
 
Don’t think I’ve ever seen Real Madrid get battered this much. Completely outclassed.
 
Sometimes you just have to applaud another team. This is a great City side (whatever the filth behind it). However, this may not be over. In the first leg, the City defence looked vulnerable every time Madrid got to their penalty area. It will take something extraordinary to turn this around, but they could score if they can open the game and get forward. (Don't think they will, though).

I've had lunatics tell me that a keeper is more important than a striker in the way our team is presently constructed. DDG needs to feck off for sure but the length some go just to be original in their views, I ain't impressed

Only this time, we didn't hold on, so it didn't pay off.
 
City have been killing teams with that Silva cut in, De Bruyne inside right channel run for years, just automatic now, and it seems they have adapted Grealish to do very similar with Gundogan on the left.

Great team, feel very little about them.
 
If they hold on this could be one of the greatest CL performances of all time.

It's easier to do this when all of the cards stack in your favour and there are zero consequences.
 
Total domination, but it is not over yet. Argentina doninated France for 70 mins in the WC final too, still got it to extra time. 2 goals isnt that big a margin

I think most bottom half prem teams would be putting up more of a fight here. Madrid have been woeful.

He is probably the best coach in the world, but lets not go to far, his team still look completely unconvincing away from home in Europe.

The CL final might genuinely be a 6-0 game.
Inter will be shredded and I worry about us in the cup final too.
 
City is just a well managed and top professional club from top to bottom with a very good Manager. Yes they also have a lot of money, but that doesn’t change the fact that they spend them wisely unlike Chelsea and ourselves.

Im scared for the FA Cup final. City look levels above any team in the world.
 
Of course they need at least 2 goals but imo they first need Alaba at LB and Tchouameni at DM.

Silva and de Bruyne are ripping Camavinga apart and Kroos, Modric and Valverde cant defend the center.
 
We put in a better effort than Madrid did when we got our hammering at their ground earlier in the season.
