Bayern needed to punish Real when they were on top. Rafinha will get some stick but honestly Bayern should've scored 3/4 tonight. Muller and Lewandowski were useless tonight. Ribery was the only one trying. He was a 1 man attack and his teammates should've given him more support. He had Carvajal on toast the whole game.

This Madrid team is really something else. No matter how dominant you are against them they have the quality to beat you within the space of just a few minutes.
Real is strong and has loads of experience but they are really lucky very often. Zidane is showing to be a very good manager.

Exactly. When Marcelo is up front Casemiro needs to cover him. Or Casemiro will drop to the box and Ramos will work as the LB in those situations.
Another thing is, majority of times when Marcelo is caught "out of position" is not that he lost a ball that leads to a counter attack. In general he is positioned as a winger high in the pitch and this is a tactical decision. Why Zidane would do that? Because 1-1 away would be better than 0-0. As i said, offensive full backs worth the risk. They can decide games when the strikers are marked out.

Madrid have passed PSG, Juve and on their way to pass Bayern by exactly same defense and tactics. If they're dealing with it, what's the problem ? Pretty sure Liverpool are inferior to both PSG and Juve.
