Champions League Semi Finals (24th April - 2nd May)

Some of you people are insane.

Don't cheer on Roma against Barca, don't cheer on Juve or Bayern against Real!

Well, up yours, I'll cheer those I like more.

In current form, Liverpool would beat both of these teams comfortably. There was nothing on show today that should worry them.

My only hope is that they get nervous and bottle it, whilst Real/ Bayern use their extensive CL experience and take advantage.

Madrid look absolutely brilliant at times tonight, so composed with the ball and you can throw anything at them and they seem to have the edge over teams.

Until Liverpool beat them in the final that is....:nervous::nervous::nervous::nervous:

Ribery is literally the only good attacker I saw on either side (I watched ~70 mins total but missed the 1st 2 goals). Especially for Bayern they had nothing else except him turning the fullback and cutting it back. And though he kept doing that, no-one made the correct run.

Much confident with Madrid in final. Liverpool may score but Real will pick up their defense and will score some fun counters.

Ronaldo vs Lovren.

LIverpool are going to have a field day against this Madrid defence I feel. 6 times feels depressingly inevitable.

Ronaldo, Asensio and co against Lovren, Karius, Wijnaldum will be chaos too though.

Real have the experience which could be key.

Bayern are still a better side than Liverpool

But Real are better than Bayern. They've got Ronaldo. Ultimate player who performs when it counts. I know who I'd want to play if I was Klopp.

Do some Utd fans want Bayern to get through????

That's madness if true.

I've seen some ruing Lewa's miss. feck knows what they're at!

Bayern looking like a team(with injuries) but also one who have been playing easy games all season domestically and don't have an extra gear to find.

Honestly watching that I find it hard to believe that we are watching the best level of the game. So many mistakes, so little quality football being played, I keep hearing that football has never been better, really?

Happy with that result to be honest. I don't trust Bayern whatsoever to beat the Scousers whereas Madrid have the wherewithal and nous to get the job done, not to mention with no little skill and talent of their own.

Wow, as I suspected, Bayern Munich really is where 'great' players go to die. James, Thiago, even Ribery regularly win a one-team league but have been released or never bought by truly top teams like Barca, Real, etc. Lewandowski is wasting his own time and deserves what he's getting.

All IMHO before people start jumping me.

Ronaldo? that lad Who didn't score??

Real's defence against Salah Firmino Mane

Ronaldo's magic wasn't even needed. They can rest him on the final from what happened just today.

Time to bring out the old gr8 b8 m8 meme!

Don't count Roma out.

Liverpool are gonna score at least 1 away goal. It's them vs either Real or Bayern. I hope it's Real because I can see Bayern getting a pasting in the final.

we were so much better :-( sadly a stupid goal and an error made the game. still possible but it's a tough task to score 2 goals in madrid. should've been a deserved win today for bayern. real was useless for 90% of the game. 2 bad injuries again ... football god hates us.

How the feck have we lost this ... it’s not over, but it’s a mountain to climb. Not sure I will watch the return leg, I‘m just tired of seeing Real playing like utter shit and still getting through.

Pray for a Real Juve style meltdown. Whos back in that game?

Are we sure Miroslav Klose is just supposed to be a youth coach at Bayern? Maybe he´s supposed to teach the $100M man how to show up in big games and finish empty-netters in the six yard box. Sandro Wagner or Mario Gomez would have poached a couple of goals in Lewandowski´s place. Says it all that 35 year old Ribery was far and away the best Bayern player, with James as the only support.

Lewandoski has to be one of the biggest flat track bullies in the history of the game.

3 players injured and subbed (2 of them in first half), so many chances missed and 2 sloppy goals conceded, terrible evening.

This tie is not over yet though.
