Champions League Semi Finals (24th April - 2nd May)

Goes without saying I am supporting Roma and Bayern tonight.

Can a knowledgeable serie A follower share their view on how Roma have been this season where their strengths lie and how their style of play has been? Is it going to be something Liverpool will struggle against?

On paper it seems roma have a strong midfield but not much else outside of Dzeko?

That game is tomorrow.:D

Liverpool will blitz Roma in the first 30 minutes and probably score more than once.

Roma must score at least one away goal in order to have any chance.

Liverpool will go into a 2-0 early lead, and then Roma will pull one back in the second half. Roma to win 4-0 in the return leg.

Liverpool should win tonight, that's very obvious. They have always been a tough side at Anfield no matter the opposition.

Tonight isn't the end all be all, so it'll be interesting to see how Roma manage the first 90 minutes because no doubt Liverpool will continue to counter and go forward with their forward line and try to put the tie out of reach.

Hope Cengiz does well. In the buildup to this game it has mostly been about Salah facing his old club. Would be great if his Roma 'replacement' scores. He has been in good form too.

It's been a year and a day since we lost at Anfield for the last time, and tonight is our last difficult home game so I hope that stat will extend to next season.

Didn't you lose against West Brom in the FA cup?

To spare you being gloated at being corrected it's been since West Brom in the cup in January.

Last Mignolet game and Moreno played so can understand not counting it though. :D

“Run really fast and try to score five goals in the first twenty minutes...”

A fantastic insight into why we’ve scored so many goals this season.

 made me chuckle too, that

Didn't you get beaten by West Brom?

They play 3 at the back, so it's not Kolarov who will be tracking him. More likely one of the CBs will cover the zone.

Oh yeah, i know that. But he has to be tracking him still. Can't completely just let him go; be a bit of a dereliction of duty if that was the case. Anyway, he's apparently been playing very well so lets hop that carries over...

Prediction:

Liverpool 1-1 Roma
Bayern 1-0 Real Madrid

Group of Roma fans have downed an older Liverpool fan on Alberts . Isolated incident hopefully.

Come on Roma, need to survive the first 20mins, and definitely need a goal.

Will be impressed if Ox, Milner and Henderson manage to get the better of Roma's midfield. Don't see Pool winning by more than 1 tonight, think Roma will score.

It's Liverpool in Europe. They've got this far with a pretty average goalie, defence and midfield...all usual bets are off.

Does anybody still have that Klopp-gif from this season. Where he goes mental and start hitting his own face I think. Not sure what game. @GifLord
