Didn't watch but reading some of the comments. Why did Roma play such a high line? You know Liverpool will come quick when you lose the ball and doing this in the first leg, away from home, seems a bit naive?
Very similar to City. They counter on their half way line. The opposition loses the ball in the MF, the full backs (the opposition team) then are too high and then Liverpool players burst forward.
Let's be fair and say scoring 5 against any team in a CL Semi is phenomenal! They were in seventh heaven and took their foot off the gas towards the end.

Roma will rue those late chances they fluffed with bad decision making and weak shot/pass selections. They could have easily nicked a third goal there toward the ends. Liverpool will likely score a couple in Italy and that's likely that.

Bayern Munich are pretty good. It isn't like Liverpool would be facing Huddersfield in the final

At 5-0 I was thinking it's too good to be true and we should have stopped at 3 and closed the game as we did vs City. Was right with that, as it appears.
The penalty was a penalty tbf, Milner made his body bigger with his hand and the shot was on goal, so it's not important whether it was deliberate or not. Just unlucky, but the ref had every right to call it.
Lovren is a donkey as usual, but we have no better option. Injury crysis in midfield continues. We have only 3 out of 6 midfielders, and the ones injured are not looking to get back anytime soon.
It's not done, we'll need full strength team and approach to go through.
