Champions League Round of 16 fixtures

Didn't look like they had much chances in the first half.

Dortmund has been the far better team in both legs so far and Donezk has been really disappointing so far imo.

Of course the fact that their season only just started didn't help their form too much I guess.

Never understood the hype around Donezk. Just an average team that started well in their CL group and got lucky in the end, going through on away goals against an underperforming, weak Chelsea team. They scored a few nice goals on the counter, that's it. No idea why that lead to a crazy hype around them. They are a worse team than Arsenal or Schalke in my opinion, should have lost at home to Dortmund as well and look clearly a level below in that game..

Bit harsh methinks.

Sigh.

I'm just waiting for the referee to help Barcelona through against Milan and my suspicions will be complete.

I felt it was Bayern's year before today but with Madrid's unbelievable luck against us perhaps it's theirs.

Dortmund would play into Madrid's hands IMO, just as Barca did. I hope that they get Bayern and get absolutely bummed.

Anyone bothering to watch the 2 ties tonight? Don't see how Celtic can even come close to an upset, and PSG should have their players on the guillotine board if they don't qualify for the quarters.

How? They gave all sorts of problems when they played Real in the group stages. Barring any injuries, I don't see that changing.

 They're in an ideal position alright, they play ruthless counter attacking football and Valencia needs to attack and score goals

Felt this morning that I genuinely can't be bothered with the remainder of this CL. I usually continue to watch it when United get knocked out because...it's football. Good quality at times too.

Madrid can win it for all I care.

Going for Dortmund or Bayern now. Dormund would be great cause in the beginning they were underdogs, while Bayern is probably the best running football club in the world, have an excellent team and are playing great. In fact, I would love if this game will be the final.

Juventus could do a lot of damage too.

Anyway, probably it will be the year when Platini's dream will be fulfilled where both Barca and Real reaches the final. If only, Barca eliminates Milan, which after yesterday's event seems more likely to happen than a week before.

Any team besides them, even Arsenal .I don't wanna see assholes like Ramos and Arbeloa lift the CL

Hope Barcelona make it through now tbh, will take away some of the 'this was supposed to be our feeling' that we're all going through.

Would like Dortmund to win the whole thing personally, but I think they'll come up short.

Got to be honest, doubt I will watch any of the other games now. helps that for the most part I will be at work for them. Whether I watch the final probably depends on who makes it, but don't have a lot of interest anymore

Dortmund are not going to win the league, are out of DFB-Pokal & should get the automatic CL spot easily. They can put all their eggs in the CL basket and do very well. I am hoping they would as I don't like any of the rest.

If Celtic want to be considered one of the big clubs proper they need to shake this image of the plucky little club that could...Or at least hope Sky can stop patronising them for 5 minutes.

But they aren't a big club.

But they aren't a big club.

Well, true. Certainly not in terms of pedigree or status among players, but they want to be. They're as big as a Benfica or such.

Many Celtic fans are stuck in this kind of duopoly of not wanting to be patronised by the English clubs and genuinely believe if they were allowed in the Prem they'd be one of the big hitters. But in order to do that they need to stop harping on about beating Barca in a group game where they'd already qualified as one of the greatest achievements in their history. In the newbies there were several fans that came on and started threads like "do you think you could beat us?" and then getting very upset when everyone said yes.

Is Wanyama playing as CB tonight? Looks super deep to me, but missed the lineups.

Typical of the Juve Celtic affair - Celtic lazy on the ball and get punished, despite largely dominating possession.

Really poor from whoever that midfielder was to be robbed there.

Ridiculous pass that, from Pogba. Get him on a plane..
