Champions League Round of 16 fixtures

Valencia should be winning - unfortunately that involves actually scoring.

0-0 HT
2-1 aggregate for PSG

Unfortunately Valverde doesn't yet seem to have enjoyed enough of the combined privilege of having Feghouli and Jonás on the pitch at the same time. One bottler wasn't enough, I suppose.

Honestly they have a better sub's bench than what's running around out there right now! Diego Alves, João Pereira, Guardado, Banega, Canales, Piatti, Haedo Valdez...

Well, true. Certainly not in terms of pedigree or status among players, but they want to be. They're as big as a Benfica or such.

Many Celtic fans are stuck in this kind of duopoly of not wanting to be patronised by the English clubs and genuinely believe if they were allowed in the Prem they'd be one of the big hitters. But in order to do that they need to stop harping on about beating Barca in a group game where they'd already qualified as one of the greatest achievements in their history. In the newbies there were several fans that came on and started threads like "do you think you could beat us?" and then getting very upset when everyone said yes.

Barca hadn't already qualified to be fair.

But they aren't a big club.

Yes we are. Not as big as you, Barca, Madrid etc, but we're a big club. We might not be on telly and billboards everywhere in Bangladesh, India, South Korea and so on like other teams but we're a big club.

I was just going to say you're a proper big club, but that kind of stuff is small-time, so...

In other news, Valencia, ffs! I'm counting on you!

Piatti! Loved him at Almería. Hasn't really got started at Valencia, unfortunately.

Bloody hell. Valencia defenders didn't even try to get back. They could at least have pretended to try.

Absolute domination from Juve over the two legs really, despite some trying to claim otherwise. And that's a Juve side that weren't anywhere near their best, were slightly tired for the first leg and also rotated half their players tonight.

Shame some people still don't realise how good this side is.

Any reason why everyone wants Valencia to win?

M&M?

Moura and Money

They've been recognized as a threat to any side in Europe.

This PSG side wont get much further, as soon as they meet one of the big boys theyll be on their way.

The ref just started shouting 'play on, play on' in a language none of the players could understand.
