Champions League Round of 16 (13th Feb - 14th Mar)

Why don’t Redcafe have a thread only for die hard Spurs supporters? Btw. Happy for Glaston. So many new friends.

:wenger: Commenting on the match means new Spurs supporters?

Mate no offence but if my team were in a huge match v Juventus in the CL knockouts, the last thing I would be doing is spending my time on a Spurs forum arguing with the locals.

Go and enjoy your team playing ffs, they're playing well.

I’m on a Spurs forum as well, it’s half time. I’m not here to WUM just find a more widespread appreciation for the game rather than a shit storm of panic on a Spurs match day forum.

What are you talking about ? Are you implying United has not given up on the title?
I said League, which includes battle for top 4, all of said teams give their everything till now to finish as high as possible in top 4 cause they aren't yet safe, which means their current place is a true reflection of their quality, 2nd better than 3rd, 3rd better than 4th, sure you don't rely earn anything being higher in those places but it sure tells which team was superior and more consistent in this case United superior to Spurs, again deal with it.

I am saying that both United and Spurs will not win the PL this year and both sides are still alive in the CL and FA Cup.
And I was saying for all of the 'I prefer Poch' posts around here, Spurs have won feck all under him whilst we won 2 trophies in just one season under Mourinho.

Sometimes pragmatism is key.

Wait till the season is over for those statements.

Are there really virtually only Basel fans audible or is that the Swiss TV station using adjusted microphones or something like that?

Serie A is a pub league these days when Juve are the best they can offer to be fair.

I loved Serie A as a youngster, wish the league would get back to its best :(

What? Juve has the been the best team in the CL after Barca and Real the past three years. One two mediocre games with many injuries doesn’t change that.

I don't get to watch Serie A much anymore and hear a lot about Dybala. Is he even playing today? The only players who look like any threat for Juve are Costa and Sandro...

Agreed. The 'big leagues' are a bore these days. I miss the days of Valencia, Milan, Inter, Ajax etc being good.

Yes, the true flavour of European football is gone, historic clubs like Benfica and Porto reduced to feeder team status another sign of the issue. I miss the days when a trip to Turkey for example meant a very difficult test or when Dynamo Kiev could go to the Nou Camp and humiliate Barca with Shevchencko and Rebrov.

Loved Monaco last year, then they were cherry picked to death.

Spurs pose juventus a problem nobody else can force: they can physically bully them. Juventus are a physical team first and foremost. They just don't know what to do

The Spurs loving makes no sense because they aren't actually that good. City loving makes much more sense because they are clearly superior to everyone.

Spurs aren't a benchmark for what United should be, because they aren't even better than us. City are the ones we should try to overcome, and so are the benchmark for us.

He's not. Vastly overrated, doubt he'd do remotely as well in the PL.
I used to think he was a tad overrated but I've seen a bit more of Juve this season and he's impressed me everytime. Enough for me to see the hype. I still think Fekir's a better option.
Juventus midfield has been awful again tonight
Can't say I'm surprised. Never really cared for Matuidi or Khedira, though Pjanic is good.
