Champions League Round of 16 (13th Feb - 14th Mar)

This referee has been absolutely rubbish. Yellow cards for nothing to two Juve players, penalties missed for both Spurs and Juve. Szymon Marciniak, not heard of him before but been very poor imo.

I'm sure being 7 points behind us for the majority of the season really excites their fans

I'm sure the style of their football does at the very least.

I bet Poch could get our attack to this level. The difference is in the coaching.

Call me crazy, but I’d rather win honest. Poch might get us attacking better, but he’d also get us in with a shout at wining gold at the Olympic diving competition.

Buffon hahaha. And that back three. It's like Spurs are playing a charity match against over 45 ex players. I hope Juventus win somehow, would love to be drawn against them in the next round.

Great so far from Spurs, looking like the team with European pedigree here.

Spurs are annoyingly positive. It's kind of refreshing seeing them playing this way against a giant like Juve. You just know if we were playing Juve at OT with a 2-2 draw we'd be much more defensive.

I still think Juve are capable of proceeding because Costa and Higuain are dangerous but at the same time so are Son, Eriksen and Kane.

Its what you come to expect in these big games. Last season, Madrid were basically gifted the semi final by the officials.

Juve do have a threat but just look over-powered to me & did in the 1st leg too.

Be a major-ish shock, if they got back into this.

No way juve are scoring two tonight. Fancy spurs to get another 1, or possibly 2 when juve go balls out.

Pochettino's impact on Spurs is there for all to see. Incredible dives by Trippier and Alli to get Juve players booked.

Horrendous officiating for the penalty decision.

Jesus, it'd be unfair to see Juve against the pace of your front 3.

The problem isn't those two. The problem is the defence is past it and their midfield has zero creativity.

Thing is though they have only conceded 3 goals in 20 games, all of the against Spurs! They look like a bunch of geriatrics out there. God only knows what's going on in the Italian league at the moment.

Juve just can not deal with the pace and tempo that Spurs play with, also how brave they are in their running and positioning. Poch has done a great job, they are so much more than the sum of their parts.

I love the animation for the pepsi sponsoring the cl ad

If Juve somehow were to turn this around, which I think is super implausible, they'd be the dream opponent for any of the other sides that progress. They are a shambles.

D Costa the only one who's turned up for Juventus. The rest have been shite.

Nah. They got some favourable decisions (like Vidal being sent off), but they also had a penalty given against them that wasn't and a couple of other bad decisions. Imo over the two legs they were by far the better team in play, and the aggregate scoreline reflects that.

Said when the tie was drawn it would be handy for Spurs. Haven't seen a thing from Juve over both matches to dispute that.

Still can't quite believe people thought they wouldn't get out of their group.

Napoli are the only other side who, on their day, are quality. However they can be highly inconsistent.

Whether it's 2nd 3rd or 4th doesn't matter when it's not first.

Napoli got outclassed by City earlier and now Juve getting done by Spurs. Although Roma had the better of Chelsea over their two games and Atalanta battered Everton.

We got lucky with the Juve pen, but that aside we've played fairly well and have been a lot more threatening than Juve ... so I can't say our goal wasn't deserved.

It was nervy as hell for most of that half ... and I doubt the nerves are done shredding by a long chalk yet.

But Juve now have to score twice with no reply if they want to go further in this competition.

They were given 2 offside goals in the 2nd leg. It's near impossible to beat a team as good as Madrid when they are gifted two goals.

Spurs clearly the better team. Expecting them to extend the lead when Juve chase the equalizer.
